Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Afternoon snack options at Beach Club. Not very exciting. They also had Mickey Bars, Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Fruit Bars.

Prior to COVID many of the CLs were Leaning toward having lunch like food - I’m thinking of Poly and RPC. Are any back to that, or is it a think of the past and mid-day snacks just chips/packaged snacks/candy now? We stayed BWI CL over the 50th, but I can’t remember what they had in the middle of the day offhand.

I stayed at BWI club level in November, and this is pretty much what they had as well. Maybe it’s changed since then and someone who has stayed more recently can chime in.

Are Mickey Bars a common offering at specific CL’s or just certain ones? We are at WL in June and curious to know if they offer them there.

Gf rpc and poly cl had “lunch” prior to Covid but do not currently, I also felt others sometimes had sandwiches randomly like wl and bwi come to mind. Even CSR had healthy snacks midday .

I am keeping away from cl currently . $1000 a nite for many, lack of lunch, lack of special things like scones at gf makes a non cl room more appealing.

I saw Mickey bars at AKL but not at gf, Cr or bwi post Covid.

Those desserts look good.

Agreed, I didn’t see the ice cream selection at BWI either.

Breakfast selections at Beach Club were pretty much the same as when I was here last time. I did take pictures if it would help someone to not have to find my beginning of Feb trip.

Speaking of CR, here are some recent pics of one of the "Standard Room - King - Club Level" rooms, which are on the 14th Floor/Tower Club level. I never stayed in the prior version of this room, only saw pics, so can't really compare the two. It's a great option for parties of 2 looking for something that's an upgrade over the regular 12th floor/Atrium Club experience and one of only a few places around WDW with a bookable King category.

The only Incredibles detail in this room is Edna above the bed. They certainly decided to go big on that concept for the Tower Club rooms. The room is mostly carpet, with hard surface flooring in the entryway and bathroom. Note these rooms only have the King bed, no day bed. The room is quite large and livable.

I have a growing dislike for these mini-fridges Disney is using these days - they just don't get all that cold.

Spacious bathroom. Note it's an all-in-one layout, no separate room for the toilet. I like how bright the new bathrooms are, both in the regular rooms and Tower Club rooms.

Had oddly low water pressure in this particular room.

Surprisingly, no wall-mounted toiletries (the larger suites I've stayed in on the 14th Floor did have wall-mounts, FWIW).

Closet, including robes/slippers.

What a fun room- the drop ceiling in the bathroom/hallway is throwing me off though. What an odd choice for a recently renovated room.

They have to have the drop ceilings because of the way they had to do plumbing in the building. It wasn’t “normal” construction for back then, and now that it’s done that way they can’t change it.
