Anybody know what cordial were offered GF RPC?
BWI looks like a nice lineup!
NIce pictures, you got up close! Here are a few pictures it was very busy and I felt weird snapping awayThe oatmeal, eggs, ham and plant based sausage were being served by the chef as well as the Mickey waffles and toppings. Any questions feel free to ask .
We're checking into RPC 2 weeks from today. It's our first CL stay and first time on-site since becoming parents. Seeing all of the great pictures has got me even more excited - which helps counteract the nervous anxiety leading up to taking a 4yo & 2yo on vacation.

I recommend adding a shot of Gran Marnier or Chambord to a hard CiderThe only one I remember for sure is Grand Marnier, we are not cordial drinkers so didn't pay a ton of attention. DH and I instead requested glasses of Cabernet and they didn't hesitate to bring those out to us.
I saw some other posts about mimosas in the mornings. We requested them when we arrived in the morning and again there was no problem getting them. In fact the first time they asked what kind of juice we preferred (DH is orange juice, I like cranberry) and after that they just knew what we wanted.

Our first CL stay was when DS was 4 (he's now 11) and other than recent pandemic travels where CL wasn't available, I never looked back. The convenience with little ones is addicting.
Have fun!
/QUOTE]Thank you so much for the pics! I know it seems really weird taking them and trying to find a moment when no one is around. How has seating been? Any issues trying to find a spot? Were the eggs scrambled pre-cooked or were they making those too? Is there a chef every morning doing the hot stuff or just today? Sorry....so many questions
I’m not complaining here, just talking out loud more than anything, and a little tongue in cheek hyperbole. Just laughing at the situation.
Thinking about 50th - I feel less ‘in control’ of this trip than I have with Disney in awhile. So many new things - early park entry, deluxe late hours, ROTR standby, two new nighttime shows, a new EWP tag, 50th merchandise, new restaurants/dining packages (all of which I either missed when they openedtet for reservations or botched the execution), probably a lot more I’m forgetting.
Sort of feel overwhelmed, and I’d like to think I generally have a good handle on the latest Disney things!
Oh well, it’ll be a fun ride at least!
When we were there last weekend, there were no Mickey waffles which is extremely disappointing considering Mickey waffles returned to BWI CL this morning. We thought the evening appetizers were actually better than before, but the breakfast options were a disappointment compared to what used to be available IMO. Mickey waffles were never available every day in the past, but they typically had them several times a week I think, especially on weekends. The lack of soup mid-day and scones at tea time was another disappointment since they had those in the past also. Management seemed to indicate that some things were a bit different due to Covid and acted as if some of these things might come back soon. I certainly hope the orchestra will be one of the things that returns! I don't see how RPC at the "flagship" resort will be able to get away with offering less than BWI CL (food wise) for very long with the prices they are charging, so I would expect that they will bring Mickey waffles back at least once they hear that other CLs have brought them back...and I'm sure our CL regulars on here will make sure RPC managers are aware of the offerings available at other CLs lol! Of course, RPC still has the beautiful views and that "grand" feeling that you were describing because it still has the view of the main lobby with the piano player, it's just not quite as great as it was before, and without a discount available, it is harder to justify the cost than it was before...but we'll see what happens in time. I hope things will return to something more normal.Just saw a new video someone posted on YouTube of Grand Floridians Royal Palm Club, club level. Says it was filmed 2018 but all the views and food look spectacular. And fresh Mickey waffles! Is it still like that?
Thanks Cinderella/ We arrive in less than 2 weeks. Knowing what they have leaves one fewer thing uncertain! So many thinks have changed since our last visit (pre-COVID) and still learning how to navigate all the changes in the parks. It's so nice to feel like we know a bit more about the CL offerings! Here are a few pictures it was very busy and I felt weird snapping awayThe oatmeal, eggs, ham and plant based sausage were being served by the chef as well as the Mickey waffles and toppings.
