Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

DSS called yesterday for our 9/30 CR stay. Just said call us if you need to book any reservations. Nothing interesting.

I still haven't received a call for CR, but I got a call Saturday or Sunday about our BWI reservation for that same trip (decided to do a split for 50th). I told the girl I thought they'd be calling about my AKL stay in two weeks, so then she looked up that reservation and I started drilling her with questions. She said they are being told that everything should be pretty much like it was before (no lounge capacity restrictions at this point) with the exception of the mask requirement (unless eating or drinking). I wish I had asked about glassware in the lounge vs plastic, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. Seeing first hand will be the best. We did also ask about the showers by the pool, and she said they will be open so a swim on checkout day is an option!

I got a CR VM yesterday. Basically just said to keep an eye on the “know before you go” page on the website for the latest health and safety information, and have a magical day.

I'm sure they are going to be selling that junk for sky high prices. I have been disappointed lately with Disney merchandise quality. Mugs that are $15.99 and the decal comes off in the DW after several washes. Random tshirt sizing. etc.

They have to make it cheap so the next time we're back we need to replace it. How many tumblers does anyone need in their house? I've pulled half of the refillable mugs from over the years aside to replace when the first half is worn out or lost. The new ones are taking on water (time to trash) verses the 10+ year old ones, treated the same way, are fine.

I am looking at 9/29-30 10/1-2.

They have a break in night shows 9/29-30 so we will NEED cl.

There will be a bazillion people there 10/1 yet no after hours events and parks closing on the early side. I can’t believe they haven’t extended the hours!?!?!

I don’t know lol, they better have pin give aways, characters at the resorts or some other perk! Rack rate for a special day and no perks is not gonna to work

I haven’t seen anything about daytime cavalcades lately. Last year they did the boo ones during the day. Anybody see anything about it this year ?

I'm a terrible person. A reservation hoarder, if you will. I'm currently booked for 3 resorts for my 3-day pre-Turkey Day trip. Arrive afternoon of the 18th, leave afternoon of the 20th.

YC - booked before they announced the Xmas After Hours. I need to cancel this...but I keep thinking about the ease of rope-dropping Remy.

GF RPC standard -nabbed this after they announced Xmas after hours. Yay! Walkable! Club level is back! And RPC! Never done it!! Such a lovely open space.... I'm not sure how much park time I'll want to do if the Rona is still spiking down there, so this just seems like a glorious splurge.

CR standard atrium club - nabbed two days ago - full disclosure, I only booked this because my sister now wants to show up with my niece (possibly) - and if there is a party on Friday, they want to be at CR - closer and all that. Not sure I love the refurb of the rooms, but hey, they are brand new... And I mean, I'm sorry, but it's not that much closer!! And the lounge looks more enclosed and smaller. I wonder if the resort will be packed then, with the D23 stuff that weekend.

I want RPC!! Kinda tempted to say there was a mishap with the CR reservation, but I figured it's better for someone to report back about CL in general at the end of next month. Or maybe there will be no party on Friday, and I won't have to worry about it.

That's really all I wanted to say. I want RPC. Or should I want atrium club? Damn you, Disney, and your damn choices.

What do you mean about a break in night shows?

I booked regular BWI for 9/27-29 because family will be doing dinners and food and wine. I booked CL CR 9/30-10/3 because I don't think I can deal with crowds all day at MK.

The lounge area is more spacious at RPC and in the past they had soup at lunch and tea time later on. Tell her it's to keep you out of the crowds.

No not at all , they will even give you little paper trays to carry it if you need to. We always grab something as we walk by anyway like drinks and snacks

Unless I’m mistaken, HEA ends 9/29, no show 9/30, then Disney Enchantment 10/1.

At Epcot, Epcot Forever ends 9/28, no show 9/29 & 9/30, then Harmonious 10/1.

Oh oppps… I had started to reply to something else upthread but didn’t finish my thought and didn’t post it, but guess part of it was still there when I replied to the other post.

Guess we all know how I feel about those lightsabers now.
