Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Top photo:

There are 3 Water View rooms (non-CL) nestled in between a one and two bedroom suite (CL) on the left and 4 WV rooms (non-CL) next to the Deluxe room (CL) on the right. So he must be in the Deluxe room 1557?

BTW, I wonder why those are classified as WV when from his photo it seems you can't see much of Crescent Lake from a ground floor room or is it just the photo's angle?

ETA: So sorry, my post makes it sound like I'm a stalker:flower3:. It's just the Nancy Disney-Drew in me.

We had one of those two bedroom suites on that map, I think maybe 4th floor.

 - I almost deleted my "time for research" part of my post because I thought the same thing. Somehow I don't think he would mind!

Phew, I'm glad you think he'll understand, @TJA. We just like solving a good Disney mystery! The BC is a good 14-hour drive from NoVA so he and his family are safe, I promise.

Quick clarification on my BC room, we're in a "1BR with club access" room, which I'm assuming is like other places where there are a handful of other room types around the resort that also get CL access. We're really close to the elevator bank, it's not far to get to the lounge at all. I asked for an upper floor when checking in and the CM said "trust me, you're in a good spot because you could be really far from the lounge."

This 1BR room may have us spoiled though!

Mystery solved and thanks! A one bedroom suite is fabulous! Enjoy!

Oh I'm sure it will spoil you! It's almost like staying CL for the first time....it spoiled us so much that we can't stay non-CL anymore. Hope you enjoy your day/night there!

Ok, we've really lost it now. Decided we weren't ready to leave Disney today and booked a one night stay at Beach Club CL. Just checked in. Why have I been blowing all of my trips at Poly? The lounge is amazing and the afternoon snacks are ridiculously better / more plentiful than Poly. Like a whole new world for me here. I'll post more when we're done, have less than 24 hours to figure this place out!
Just left yesterday after a week long BC CL stay. Had an awesome week and CL stay. We love Poly CL but tried a BC CL/Poly split stay a few months ago in May. We were blown away by BC CL staff and Chef Chris. Kids wanted to only stay at BC CL for July so we made the change. So very glad we did. Enjoy your stay!

So sorry for the confusion! I'm in 1647. I can't really get a sense for this place in my short time here but I have zero complaints about this room or location. So convenient to everything. I'm not sure if these 1BR rooms are hard to get but this may change the way we view future Disney trips.

Evening appetizers and desserts. Mind blown. I know one CL night is not a fair body of work to make a full assessment, but call me impressed.

For DS... Make your own PBJ and apple slices. Certainly different than Poly's cut in half uncrustables....

Very impressive variety for adults and very flavorful. Excuse the piggish looking plate, wanted to try everything!

So glad to hear this! We are staying at BC for the first time in a one-bedroom suite in December. I understand that there is a pull out queen and a twin foldout. Can I ask which one is in the bedroom and which one is in the sitting area?

Thanks for all the pics of the food too! We have never staying club level and I'm afraid we will never be able to go back!

Couple more if you don't mind... (Not directly CL related).

Nice feature...

Not sure what Disney is trying to do here. These signs are everywhere but obviously no enforcement. Same at Poly, but I did notice what I think appeared to be a dedicated Parks & Rec staff member stationed monitoring the beach at least for some portion of the evening (just watching people play on a marked closed beach).

Beautiful sunsets here.

I will caveat that I *think* there are other wings/corridors that have 1BR Suites so don't take my word that they are all configured the same (I suspect they are, but I just don't know). In my room, the twin is in the bedroom and the larger sleeper sofa (queen I guess) is in the other room.

That's the twin in the next room.

That's the queen there on the left. The bathroom is to the right of this view.

Really tiny patios here. That's a demerit in our book. :-(

Thank you thank you! We will have 5 in the room (me, DH, DMom and my 2 year old twin boys). We think the boys will still be in cribs and the concierge has indicated we could get two full sized cribs but just in case they transition to beds before the trip, I wanted to make sure I understood the bedding. Seems perfect! Hope you have an amazing stay!

GADisneyDad -- thanks for all the wonderful pics. I'm glad you are enjoying the room, the resort, and the lounge. Our March trip was a split between BC CL and GF RPC and we actually thought the food at the BC was comparable or better than what we had at the GF. This is a HUGE change from our last stay there, and I also agree that the BC food blows the Poly food out of the water (love the Poly views, though). Have a great last day! :cloud9:

It would not affect their ability to book FP - EXCEPCT - that they would now be able to book FP for everyone in their party at the 60 day window on the days that they have additional guests. That's what they would gain doing two reservations. The FP booking would be the same for the folks staying the entire time. They can book FP for both stays at the 60 window.

If they stay with one reservation, their two extra guests can't book FP at the 60 day window unless they pay the extra adult fee, $50, for every day of the hotel reservation.

If not, the additional guests would have to wait until the 30 day window to book FP. With two reservations, the folks staying the entire time can book all FP for the duration of both stays all at once. The additional guests can book at what will be their 60 window.

Worst case scenario, is only that they'd have to swap rooms that day. For us, packing takes about 15 minutes.

About making the FPs with 2 reservations: I thought the same thing until I went to book our FPs. We are staying 2 weeks and doing a split stay. One week just 6 of us and the 2nd week 10 of us. I was able to book all FPs for the 10 of us for the 2nd week on the 60 Day mark of the 1st reservation (I hope that makes sense). I wasn't expecting to be able to do it but I was able to and thrilled.

I agree it is ridiculous to have to do a split stay to add guests. I have had to pay in people for nights they weren't there in the past because it was easier - but only for 1 person and maybe for 1 or 2 nights.

Looks like another vote here for BC CL over Poly CL? So maybe the amazing KKC view doesn't make-up for any lounge deficiencies? (BC and Poly CLs are the CLs I haven't tried or booked yet.)

No apologies, @GADisneyDad14! We've had fun following along on your CL adventure. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we really think you need to book just one more night! Just curious, were you able to use the "add a night" discount (or any discount) to your one night booking?

Nancy Disney-Drew did a little checking on the Disney booking site and it does seem the BC one bedrooms can be elusive. Just out of curiosity, I was trying to find nightly pricing/availability and it took me a while to find even a one night vacancy for September. I had no idea the pricing is pretty competitive. Generally, CL one bedrooms are in the $1,000s, but BC's is priced almost the same as a Standard RPC room at GF. However, the site claims the one bedrooms only accommodate up to 4 adults. The Deluxe room actually accommodates up to 5 adults, so says the site.

So glad to hear this! We are staying at BC for the first time in a one-bedroom suite in December. I understand that there is a pull out queen and a twin foldout. Can I ask which one is in the bedroom and which one is in the sitting area?

I'm confused, was the daybed or whatever the twin is, added very recently? According to the Disney booking site, the one bedroom only accommodates 4 adults with one king and one queen sleeper:

The Deluxe room shows a max. cap. of 5 adults and it claims to have a daybed:

I agree about the patio. It should reflect the size (and price) of the room/suite.

According to the BC room map I have, there are one bedroom suites directly above yours up to floor 4. I think a 4th floor suite would be an amazing view. Safe travels home!
