Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I posted over on Yacht and Beach Club Thread, but haven't gotten a response. Wondering if anyone can help me over here. Has anyone stayed in a Deluxe Room at YC? I am specifically interested in the following:
1. Can the bathroom be accessed separately from the sitting room area if the dividing doors to the bedroom are closed?
2. Is the balcony accessible from the sitting room area or only from the main bedroom.
3. I really prefer a SE view/crescent lake and I'm wondering if this is even an option for this room type as I understand there are very few rooms in this set-up.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I agree. I don't know how closely in touch the IPO staff that respond to the emails are with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, but I did think it was inadequate to respond to my concerns (both times) by insisting that they would like the new offerings and not really offering an alternative, which is what I asked. It just seemed a little "out of touch" to say twice that "it's a big hit", when perhaps that is not the case. Of course, the lounge offerings aren't supposed to be meal replacements, but one hopes that there's enough there that there's something for everyone. Based on past experiences, I wasn't expecting to have to purchase quick service food to bring in while DH and I had an adult beverage and a snack in the afternoon. Despite my rambling, we will make the best out of what's offered - I'm looking forward to the more unique options myself - and I can't wait to get there!

My thoughts exactly. There should at least be something kid friendly. Even if they brought out the goldfish or gummy bears from afternoon snacks it would give kids an option. Also, to answer your other question, yes the Zebra trail side is where we request to be. I'm not sure the benefits of staying on the other trail as we have always stayed on the Zebra trail. We actually have stayed in the same room a number of times. We say its "our room".

I gave birth to the pickiest eater on the planet so I know all too well how that goes! ::yes:: He doesn't eat candy, gummy bears, vegetables, fruit, crackers, stews, soups, bread, salads, cheese, or anything even remotely adventurous. He'll eat the chocolate chip muffins on the mornings they offer them, and at night he'll maybe eat a very plain item like steak on a stick (if it doesn't look like the wrong color, texture, smell, etc) That's why we always have to have a sit-down dinner reservation every night. So he can get his plain steak and plain fries. I pity the woman he marries! :rotfl:

I am pretty sure my daughter could give your son a run for his money on world's pickiest eater. I always thought it was the parents fault when kids were picky eaters. Then my daughter was born. The child who would not eat any baby food except for one flavor and the child who now pretty much only eats chicken nuggets, peanut butter and jelly, pizza and fries. Its pretty bad when you think a cupcake is a good dinner option (that is what she had tonight). She is only 3 1/2 and I continue to offer her a variety of foods but I don't see this changing. My husband ranks up there in the pickiest eater ranks.

I just sent my message to general guest services regarding offering at least one kid friendly option in the evening at AKL. I'll report back if I get a response.

Definitely keep us posted - maybe I will do the same once I figure out how...

I'm sure we will, thanks! - the kids are beside themselves with excitement about staying there! And my theory is, they will keep any complaining to themselves if they want the CL gravy train to keep going! There will definitely be a pre-trip pep talk!

It's a great resort, I know everyone will have a great time ::yes::.

LOL on the CL gravy train . I'm sure the pep talk will work ;).

Everything looks delicious! Thanks for sharing the pics :).

I can't help as we've never stayed at the YC, but I didn't want your post to get lost. Hopefully someone will be able to help :flower3:.

I hope someone gets back to you :).

I wasn't the poster who asked, but I wanted to say you are always very helpful and quick to respond :goodvibes.

First time at Regatta coming up in just a couple of weeks. At OFC we like to take of those little Mickey milk cartons back to the room for my daughter. We just stick it in the fridge for first thing in the morning before the CL opens. I'm reading differing things about Regatta. Can anyone confirm if they have the little Mickey Milk Cartons in plain white milk or do they just have milk pitchers? Anyone encounter problems in taking an extra carton or two back to the room fridge?

I have always gotten milk for the room when ds with me. If there are cartons out I just take. If not out that time I ask for them.(for example in the morning usually pitchers/containers out for cereal but the cartons available for rest of the day.) If there are not cartons available any longer I would just use the coffee to go cups.

I have asked for chocolate milk and Cr had mini Nesquick. They said they only got a few a day for I made sure to ask each morning.

I also grab a glass of wine and stick in my room. You can request beer or wine anytime. So if a night you know you will miss 5-10pm ask before you head out and put in frig for when you get back to your room. Many times we got back at 10:15 and I was glad I had a nightcap.

When people ask me why I'm not on Facebook I always say because my wife is on enough for both of us.

I always get the look of disbelief when I say I'm not on FB .

You're welcome! I hope someone will be able to answer your question :).

Arrived at GF today. Going to sound like a snob but I'm not a fan of the new check-in deal. Had to basically beg someone to take me up to CL to check in. If I hadn't experienced the other way I really wouldn't care and it wasn't THAT big of a deal, but just a small touch that I missed this time. But alas, I'm sitting on the balcony enjoying this view, so life really is GRAND, despite the change in procedure.

I just got off the phone with an IPO at BC. I filled out my papers for the ADRs we want & gave her our cc #. Our trip is 9-10--9-16. I debated using them or doing it myself. But I decided to go ahead & have them make our ressies, just to have one less thing to do. I'm stressed at the moment, so less sounds good. I so wish I were there right now. :eeyore:
Love the pic GADisneyDad14

Well, we have returned from our CL stay at the BC and sad to say I don't think we will be paying for CL for a while. Just not that special feeling at all!! The cast members were indifferent, a couple were friendly and outgoing, others were just there. We kept hearing rumblings of more cutbacks coming in the way of the offerings and wine. Just very disappointed on how checkin was handled this time around.

Thank you for your honest review. I am really regretting booking CL for our upcoming trip. :(

if it was someone's first time and didn't know the difference with check in hopefully i won't be disappointed other than that how was the food?
