I received a welcome letter from WL IPO last Wednesday. I replied back that we had cancelled our Disney reservation and had rebooked the trip on Orbitz (It saved us a lot of money to do that.). I had given them the new Orbitz reservation number, but haven't heard a word from them.If you don't hear something from them shortly after booking your reservation then you probably won't at all. Usually that's the time to hear. It seems very hit-and-miss so I always recommend people contact IPO directly as soon as possible. That way they'll know your requests. I also do online check-in as well. I find the more places I list my requests the better!
We are leaving in nine days, too, staying at the BC, garden view. Our flight lands around 9:30am . I hope to see you around the parks.9 days til DISNEY for me!!!!!!!!!!

Do they still treat guests the same way if they book with a company like Orbitz rather than direct through Disney?

The lounge is not locked. You can get coffee at 6:30 and the rest at 7am. They also leave the leftover sodas in the frig at night too.
You know it! Have stayed CL before by design (WL) and luck (AKL), but never in the Epcot area- but CL has been fabulous both times. In fact, I think I've only ever stayed at a villa in the Epcot area, now that I think about it. SQUEEEEEE! How in the heck can I be expected to work for another 3 weeks? And why didn't I tack an extra day onto our stay when I had the darned chance?
I feel like you are reading my mind! This is fantastic. I'll be traveling with my Mom and my 14 year old sons. I think Mom and I will both enjoy our coffee together then while the boys sleep. Thank You!
It was the CM at the CL check in desk. His name was Tim and you could tell Tim was new or at least very unsure of himself. It was like every step he took he was replaying in his mind what he learned in class. He was super nice and helpful with other things but either he slept through CM class or just wasn't trained very well. The next morning we asked another CM Mike and he assured us we would have all privileges until midnight and we did.
