Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Called back to the IPO today and spoke with Mark at the Poly/WL area. Much nicer to deal with and he gave me a great piece of advice. Apparently you can get 'Ohana through rooms service, $40 per person (but you can choose how many people to order for so if you have small eaters order less). Entire meal, even bread pudding set up on a table in your room!
This is great information! Something I totally never considered before! I normally look at room service prices and cringe a little, but this option sounds appealing to us.

CL appetizers don't replace dinner, but CL+ full buffet is overkill for us. 'Ohana portions are just too much for us. Our server always ends up throwing away lots of food, which I hate.

We try to tell our server to skip the bread pudding, but they still bring it. (Just a wafer thin after dinner mint!) We do like most of the food served there. We also always enjoy seeing Ms. Lipoa. She's a true WDW gem!

I wonder if other resorts offer similar options for their AYCE dining. I'll have to reconsider our room service menu next visit.

Over several days the week of Thanksgiving. The CMs at the desk would be joking and cutting up among themselves and acted like it put them out to answer a question. Our other club stays the lounge would stay open throughout the day even while they were changing out the offerings or there was a beverage cooler available outside the lounge itself. Tower Club at the Contemporary they even came and stocked your fridge for you daily.
Our overall experience has not quite matched yours, but all the CL's are a bit inconsistent.

So I fully believe you!

The inconsistency is especially confusing for children!

If you ever return to WL, you may well find different CM's offer better service.

This was our experience as well. The CL CMs were constantly telling us that if there was anything we wanted that wasn't out or if it was in between services, to just let one of them know and they would be more than happy to get it for us. We found the CL CMs to be very friendly and were always going out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of and enjoying our stay :).

I'm happy to hear that! They were great and I'm really looking forward to going back in three months! lol There's just a sense of relaxation when you're sitting up there looking down at at the tree. It's so peaceful.

There may be a small possibility that I may be able to stay at the GF CL if we start saving now.. so that is a hopeful.
Anyway I was wondering if you guys could help me with like the bus situation at these resorts.. I know that some resorts share busses (I know AKL doesn't..or it didn't when I went last year) so if you guys could help me out and tell me which busses share things.

What is the bus situation for the Grand Floridian, Beach Club/Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge.

Beach/Yacht shares with Boardwalk and Swan/Dolphin and GF shares with Contemporary, Poly and WL.

13 more days until our 6 night stay at the CR Tower CL begins and I am getting nervous with all these bad reviews lately about all the "bad apple" CL CM's...

I guess everything is set for our stay and we shouldn't need much assistance BUT...I end up needing one thing or another every time we go anyways...

I have had two not so great stays at the WL(some issues due to CM's some due to room and other things - learned our lesson and won't be returning to WL) and frankly - I just want to experience all the good, nice and fun CM's that are always talked about on here... and now all I see is negative experiences across the CL's :(

Stayed at BC in July. Bus only picked up YC & BC.
During busy times they send more buses and cut the number of resorts they cover, when we stayed at Swan last November one bus covered all of the EPCOT resorts. I remember because we had the epitome of the rude American tourist family in our que. Dad did pull ups on the hang bars on the bus :(

I just didn't see where OP said when they were going so I didn't want them to think that they are always shared. Last September we didn't share the bus either. I guess it seems as though there is no absolute answer to the bus sharing.

true. And when the bus goes to multiple resorts it cuts your chances of finding a seat too. factor in scooters and it can really take a while to board a bus. We did see the buses with the extensions on them, almost like trailer with more seating, when we were at the CR in May

Thank you so much @mickeynut1 !!

You're welcome :goodvibes

I hope you have another amazing trip! The WL at Christmas time is just gorgeous :santa:. We've stayed at the WL twice and while we do love it, we also like trying other resorts. However, the WL is always in the discussion when planning a trip because we do love everything about the resort :goodvibes.

Thanks so much!!!! It really is beautiful at Christmas time! Just walking in through the lobby door makes you feel at home. Good luck deciding on your next hotel!!!!

I agree, the WL has a comfortable, home-y feel to it, especially during the holidays :cloud9:.

Thanks about the resort. We are booked for next summer with a Poly/CR split right now, but there's lots of time to change :).

Can anyone tell me if all the Beach Club club level rooms have a regular balcony or do some of them have that single stand balcony? Also are all club level rooms on the same floor?

We were in a 2 bedroom suite (upgrade) and had one Juliet style step out balcony. Also on a different floor with CL access

You should check the YC/BC thread. Dee has great information on the rooms. I know that not all of the Club level rooms have the full balconies. I was assigned one that was a long maybe 18" wide ledge with a tall railing that ran the length of the room this summer. You could stand on it but it was very narrow, There are also some of the small balconies on the Club level. As rcraw45425 had, some of the suites are not on the 5th floor. I believe the deluxe rooms are also on other floors.

All of the deluxe resorts (except AKL) share buses. But some require using buses more than others. At the BC for example, you can easily walk to Epcot, take a boat to the Studios, then you're only using the bus for MK and AK. The bus shares with the YC and sometimes also the BWI. At the GF you can take the monorail to MK and Epcot, so you're only using the bus for the Studios and AK. They usually share with the Poly. Same situation at the WL. You can take the boat to MK, or you can take the bus to the parks. They usually share with the CR. This is the main reason I love to do a split stay. On our last trip we did BC and the GF. So we really cut down on the time we have to take a bus anywhere.

This very rarely ever happens anymore. Occasionally to DTD. But in my last half dozen BC stays they've only shared with the YC. The BWI often shares with the Swan/Dolphin.

I can definitely tell you that some of the BC CL rooms do have juliet balconies. I had one once. Most of the CL rooms are on the same floor, except for deluxe rooms and suites.
