Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

What types of requests have you asked for on your past stays. Not sure what is ok to ask and what would be too much. Anyone?

We've stayed CL many times at various resorts. From my experience, the level of CM help varies from CM to CM. Last year I asked IPO to assist me with planning some type of birthday celebration for my twins. Their response was to email me 2 different phone numbers to call (cake hotline and in-room dining). So...I planned everything myself. This year, however, I decided to ask again about planning an in-room surprise for my DH's birthday. Surprisingly, IPO replied with a happy-sounding message that they'd be happy to help -- gave me some treat options and prices! I chose an option and they said I'm all set. Very easy!! It was the same resort (Poly) that I had totally opposite experiences with. So that's why I think it just depends on which CM you are lucky enough to ask.

As far as dining, I always book my own online. That way, I can play around with times and something else might even pop up and I could change my mind/plans easier than I could if IPO was booking everything. I've never had a problem booking my own dining.

Thanks. I'm going to check a few times a day for my other choices. IPO did put me in waiting list for one but not holding out hope. I have always done my own dining ADRs in the past but was hoping IPO had some pull. I bought my plane tickets and MVMCP tickets this am too. Just need to hit undercover tourist for my park ones now. So excited! Btw. I am also DaisyD here but when the boards renewed I was no longer logged it. I have no idea what email I used loooong ago as it's not the one I use now. Lol. Had to make a new account with my current email. I have been on the Dis for many years and always appreciate the advice and love giving it. Too. Thanks for all the help!

Definitely keep checking as you never know when something might become available. It also never hurts to have IPO keep checking along with you as you can always cancel any duplicates. Congrats on booking your airfare and buying MVMCP tickets. We've been to the Christmas party a couple of times and it never gets old. Have fun with the rest of your planning!!

Just saw pictures of the new set up at the Innkeeper's Club at the Boardwalk! The fridges look so nice, as does the new snack set up. Wish we could have gotten my discount for rooms there, but will be happy at the Beach Club!

I needed my Tusker House reservation moved up by 20-30 minutes to not overlap a FP. Looked daily for weeks to no avail. Finally emailed IPO and they got it moved. It could have been a coincidence but I'm appreciative regardless!

KerryCM. It does look good. We stopped up there tonight to see everyone and took a look. Definitely a good thing with the fridge. The food setup looked nice too

I can't wait to see pics, thanks for offering to take some and post them . We've never stayed at BWI, but it's been on my list to try (especially CL) after all of the great reviews I read .

They also got rid of the Beringer wine. They now have a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and a Cabernet. I forget who makes them. They are also serving Salmon in the morning.

So they're serving Salmon in the morning now....BC is serving meat platters in the mornings now....I hope this is a positive trend that other resorts will follow! Like Poly since we will be there very soon! We were so spoiled by the new BC breakfasts over Easter break that I'm holding out hope for Poly.
