Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hi Everyone,

We just back from our first Poly CL stay and it was fantastic from start to finish. Please can I go back??? They met us right off the Magical Express knew us by name. Mina (Nina) walked us right over to Hawaii even taking some pictures on the way. Sabra checked us in and she was fantastic. We we were offered any beverage we wanted right away. The little girls were so excited with their sprites and of course my friend and I chose a nice sparkling wine. They actually have this new texting app too where I was able to text Sabra or the other CL concierges on duty if there was anything we needed while out. They texted me several times during the stay to see if we needed anything at all. Where is Sabra now???

As some of you remembered I changed my ressie to TPV. Best decision ever!! They granted my request for 3rd floor and put us in room 3506. We couldn't have been more pleased with the view, the housekeeping, room service on some nights. Nothing like $45 steaks at 10pm :crazy2:

As far as Hawaii longhouse and the lounge we were in heaven. I loved hanging out every morning in the lounge or 2nd seating area and enjoying my coffee and pastry. To me the food offering were great and plentiful. I don't know if this was the time of year we were there because the lounge was never crowded at all. I don't have anything to compare to since this was our first time staying there. But we have stayed BC CL, YC CL, WL CL, GF SL CL, and BWI CL and were just as pleased. The wine/beer was out and self serve and every evening the CM would bring over the wine to see if we wanted more. I thought they were all fantastic with Irv from Maryland being my favorite. There was also an awesome CM in the morning too and I can't for the life of me remember her name. My friend was obsessed with the $10 million dollar coffee machine and now wants to become a barista. The afternoon snacks were impressive to me because they had grilled chicken and bib lettuce, fantastic dressing and we could make a salad for lunch.

The music was piped in each night and was great on the beach as well. I think this was one of the best trips ever and the location was incredible.

Thanks for letting me remember last week! I need another trip. :dancer:
I'm so glad to hear a positive review. We were one of the ones that had negative reviews of our trip in January. It makes me hopeful that I can convince my husband to try it again. The service and experience definitely seems to be linked to how busy it is when you go. The same food offerings were barely enough to count as a small app for how many people were eating in the lounge. Everything was gone very quickly. I couldn't imagine there being anything close to enough to make a salad. The CM's were always very busy, which is prob why they seemed bothered whenever you asked for anything. They did have Moet champagne during some of the evening service which was a plus!

Thanks so much for this review. I just reserved three Poly CL rooms for a family vacation in May 2018. I've been so indecisive about keeping it due to some negative reviews. For some reason, I can read 10 great ones and 1 bad one and it's the negative one that sticks out to me. But I think we are set no matter what. It's the ease of transportation to MK with our four little grandchildren that keeps me hooked on the Poly.

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. With little children the location is priceless in my opinion. Enjoy!!:cool1:

Great review! So excited to go back!!

We are doing the BCCL from June 30-July 3 and then our fav PolyCL July 3-8. Excite for all of it!

It was really hard not to do the Poly the entire time, but we have not done the BC yet.

In my opinion you have the best of both worlds!! BC CL level has always been my favorite. Poly CL is now my first but I'm going to have to do a split stay next time for sure. I love them both for location! Have fun!!!:thumbsup2

Can you get celebration buttons from the concierge? It will be my son's first trip and I'd like to get a button for him.

We got ours at the CL concierge at check in.:thumbsup2

Thanks for this post! Now I am even more excited to checkin in just 4 more days!

Have a fabulous time!!!!:cheer2:

What do you think of poly cl adding sparkling wine??

@HBGdancermom did they have that all day or just for check in?

It was there all afternoon and evening. I loved it!! They had a Chardonnay, a red wine (not sure if it was Merot or Cab) and the sparkling wine. They had no issue keeping it stocked. :thumbsup2

I'm sure the time we were there definitely helped with all the personal service we received. But yes we found ourselves in love with the ability to have grilled chicken and fresh fruit at snack time for our girls. Along with those Swedish fish, cookies, chips and my favorite red pepper pesto. Lol:rotfl2:

Your question has been answered but I just wanted to add something that's somewhat relevant to the CL service conversation above.

We've done two birthdays at Poly. For the first, the CL CM who checked us in was all over it, engaged my son, made sure we all had buttons and she specifically decorated his with his name (which she asked us if that was OK which I thought was nice), little mickey heads, etc. Nothing crazy, just 1 minute of art with a sharpie. Simple and thoughtful. She had artistic ability which I'm sure helped. The button is framed in his room today.

The second birthday, the CL CM who checked us in made no mention of the birthday and I had to ask for celebration buttons. She got them and handed me the sharpie to do it myself.

Two simple, and certainly minor events in the grand scheme of things - but the difference between a fond lasting memory and a blah CM interaction.

Thanks for the positive reviews about the Poly. I too can read a hundred good reviews and then if I read one bad one I panic and think I need to change hotels. Looking forward to our stay in May!!

You will have a great time!:cool1:

One other thing I forgot to mention was that on our check out day as we were walking out, my daughter was playing with her Minnie ears that she got earlier in the week. The night before, one of the ears had come loose and she was a bit bummed but we moved on.:rotfl2:

The CM at concierge saw the ears and ask what happened. He said leave those with me and we will get a runner to go to Epcot and get you a new pair and send them to your house. They arrived overnight the very next day.

Now I'm sure this probably happens at all resorts but we just thought it was a little extra pixie dust that we received on our way out.:cool1:

I'm sold on Poly CL!:dancer:

So glad to hear the fantastic review!! We are very excited for our upcoming stay in August, especially since we are getting buried in snow today...:(

I just read about Wishes ending in May, so I guess we will be seeing the new show from the lounge...I hope that music is piped in just as Wishes was...

Glad you had a wonderful stay!

I love hearing stories like this :goodvibes.

Happy Friday everyone! Does anyone know where I can find TPV CL room views for GF main building. Trying to figure out what you actually see from the angle of the resort. Thanks!

Have you tried Touring Plans? I think their view pics are often very inaccurate but maybe they have at least one correct from one of those TPV rooms?

@HBGdancermom I just checked, their pics are actually pretty decent. Look at room 4401.

I know you didn't ask this but I'm just not sure about those rooms/that view. That little sliver of the 7 Seas Lagoon just doesn't do it for me. I like the big, expansive views from Poly or CR.

We just came back last Monday from RPC....staying in the main building with a view like that is a wonderful experience. We have done Poly CL and the overall CL experience POLY vs RPC is apples and oranges in comparison. That room was also many many more $$$ than a Poly CL TPV, but it depends on what you are looking for overall. Good Luck in deciding. We love CL!

I think I agree with you in this!
