Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Ok, ya’ll! Enjoying a glass of wine awaiting my pickup after 3 days at CR CL Atrium. I was at YC for 2 nights/1 day before (late arrival), non CL, and while the location of YC can’t be beat, the rooms at CR (the bathrooms, specifically!!) are undeniably a step up.

Posting pics below of breakfasts (3) and apps (1 - I missed one night while at MNSSHP, and last night was the same). Lots of overlap, but the food was so good (the loaded potato barrels were AMAZING, stuffed with cheese and bacon), and the CMs were stellar. The lounge was a little chaotic Saturday, but otherwise was quite sane, and the CMs seem a lot more Tower-esque. We came back from a long slog yesterday around 3, and one of them gave me a big grin and asked if I wanted a big glass of wine. That was a first at any CL. Bubbly always visibly available at the podium, and pour-yourself bubbly/mimosa at bfast, wine after 4. If the lounge was a bit more spacious, this would be Tower equivilent.

ETA - taking Mom to RPC again for the xmas party, no decent discounts available for our weekend, and after that, I’m back to MYOCL! Can’t wait for RPC :).
Thank you for all the pictures! Love it!

Mom seemed to enjoy RPC last year! You are a good daughter.

How have we not overlapped this year? Dd has gone every single month and me most too. ‘

This was my third trip, but that first one, I was so freaking sick that I was asleep in my room most of the time. That was the trip I was diagnosed with pneumonia right afterwards 👎. There is a chance Mom might not care about going again this year for xmas, I have a room booked for her, but it may not happen. Left to my own devices, I might wait until the first week of March.

I have stayed at CR CL 3 times in the past but 2 of them I booked TPV Atrium CL and the other time I booked a TPV 1 bedroom suite which was on the 14th floor. I just booked a last minute trip and the last two days are Sept 12-14 and the booking category was Resort View-Club Level. Does anyone know for certain where in the resort this is? TIA

Can any CL vets give me a quick overview of what to expect or do on check in day? My first CL stay is coming up at GDT in about 40 days and am not sure what to expect.

I'm DVC and typically just check in on the app and go to my room as soon as I get on property (usually get in late that first day). This time, I'll already be in Orlando so I'm expecting to get to Coronado Springs at around 8am. Do I just check in on the app, leave my bags at Bell Services, and try and find the lounge myself? Or will there be someone to help? Best to just check in at the desk?

A lot of people will tell you the red carpet will be rolled out, people will be waiting in line to help you as soon as you cross the property line, you'll be whisked like a celebrity to the lounge and have a drink mixed for you and asking you what special pixey dust things they can do for you.

More than likely it will be like a couple of my experiences. You'll go to the check in desk like everyone else, and they'll sigh and tell you to go to another desk to check in. Then you'll have to hike your stuff there while not really being sure where it is.

We usually check in online and arrive early. (If you did not drive, you can drop your luggage off at Bell Services.) We go right to the elevator and then to the lounge (top floor, #15). When you get off the elevator, take a few steps into the hallway and make a left. The door should be a few steps down on the right hand side. Try to scan your band on the keypad outside the door. If for whatever reason it does not work, there’s usually Club Level staff there to open the door for you. If not, just knock. They will check you in right then and there. I have never been to Coronado and waited long for a room. They are usually pretty quick there! As far as being greeted, I have never been greeted at that time in the morning. You might get lucky, you never know, but either way, I don’t like waiting. lol Enjoy!

Haha, yeah, I wasn't too sure what to think of those stories. I couldn't imagine some CM is just standing in the lobby all day trying to find incoming CL guests but who knows 🤣

Thank you! Exactly what I needed.

That will be on the 12th floor in the atrium club and will face the pool/lake

I had a cm with an iPad in the lobby of the YC. I’m sure she wasn’t there waiting specifically for me, but I went up to her when we came in and told her we were checking in for club level. She looked up our name on our iPad and brought us up to the 5th floor in the elevator and handed us off to the CL staff to finish our check in. They did ask if we wanted a beverage.
At CR even if I’ve already gotten my room number via online check in, my magic band never works and I always have to go to the regular main desk and then one of the cast members takes me up to the 12th floor and hands us over to the CL staff. I’m not sure they’ve ever offered me a drink.

Just had to share this. I just called Disney bc I have a BB reservation for this winter. I wanted to see if any CL rooms had become available for my dates. The agent immediately told me that CL rooms are not part of the BB offer. I just sighed and hung up. 😖

That's exactly how your YC CL arrival was too.

For our GF CL stay, there were CMs with ipads milling around outside and so I went to one and told them we were checking in Club Level and she whisked us upstairs.

Okay, not to be pain, but I really trust the members of this thread. I had conflicting information from a cm chat vs. what I read on planDisney. If an AP pass says it expires on say 10/30/24, can you use the pass on the 30th?? THe chat cm said no—is this correct?!?

I thought that meant good ON 10/30. It has a been a while but I think I would have remembered if a pass didn’t work for us. We have had APs on and off for 30 years.

Anybody else with recent info?
