I have been following. It's like a train wreck, I can't look away lol. I will say i keep looking at the tip board and can't believe how certain rides have been unavailable so early in the day.

The first few days are the worst. Glad I am not there right now.

I am too afraid to read. But on the good news for me. My next trip will be my 60th bday next Sept 2025. So the kinks will all be worked out by then.

That sounds like a great split. Have a great time. I’d love to hear if there were any changes to the breakfast menu at YC CL since this winter. I saw a video the other day that looked like they changed a few things, but didn’t catch the menus bc it was a quick/short video.

We are looking at possibly dropping the dining plan and upgrading to CL at WL. However, my son has a peanut allergy. How is the CL food situation for those with allergies? He will by 7 yrs old for the trip, so he's probably be most interested in the evening desserts.

You can call or email Signature Services, prior to your trip, and let them know about his allergy. Sometimes they’re good with relaying the information and sometimes the lounge never gets the information. Some lounges will also call you prior to your stay, and when they do, you can also tell them at that time. Even if you do both of the above, I would also mention it at the check-in desk (in the lounge) that he has an allergy and they will address it at that time. Usually a chef will come out and tell you what they can and cannot eat. Some are pretty good with giving you alternative options and some not so good.

Allergies are usually a little tougher at dessert time, because they cannot guarantee you no cross-contamination. Typically, they’ll offer prepackaged allergy free cookies and some will offer Mickey bars. Depends on the lounge. Wilderness Lodge was always great with my family, so I’m sure they’ll work with you! We are looking forward to our upcoming CL stay there, it’s been awhile! Good luck with everything and enjoy!

Hello friends! I have a conference coming up at the Contemporary in January and quite a few of my colleagues & friends are attending. I have been eyeing the CR Theme Park view CL 1 bedroom suite with the thought that we could have a place to "escape" during the hectic-ness of the conference. I am not so interested in the Club Level amenities this go around (our schedule is pretty packed) but would it being on a club level floor impede me from having guests over? I will not be visiting the lounge with them - but for example we have a formal opening event, so thought it would be fun to all get ready together and then watch fireworks one evening from the balcony at the end of the conference. Has anyone done something similar? I have an email in to Signature Services, but they came back with event + catering information - not exactly what I was asking!!

In case anyone is interested, I just called for a Bounce Back 12/20 to 12/24/24 and no club rooms are offered under this promotion. Poly Tower is also excluded.

Poly and BWI club rooms have 10% off with the AP discount.

I wonder if the CM misspoke and they are not 'excluded' but just not available. When I called, there was not a lot available in terms of CL.

Not every room type is available for all dates. Plus, the BB has been available since last July. Any rooms that were available are probably long gone.

I personally called and inquired regarding that date range. CL was included in the offer, but no CL rooms were available at the time I called (this was in April.) I continued to call daily, past my checkout date, and eventually what I wanted became available! That’s why I suggested to call again. Someone might cancel something, doesn’t hurt to keep trying! Might get lucky!

The OP stated that the CM told her “no club rooms are offered under this promotion” and then also gave her specific dates. I was just telling her that was not the case, and I know that to be fact because I booked a CL room under that offer, during that time.

I mistook that for none are available. My mistake. I wonder if the CM really meant not available rather than none offered. I also booked a CL BB for September & there have been several posters who have gotten CL rooms too. So not offered is definitely wrong.

lol totally fine! I told another poster last week she can inquire about adding CL at check in at WL… she was staying at CR!!! I have to stop skimming while DISing!!

I was looking at club level rooms in Coronado. I saw there was a tower room CL and a Destino Tower CL. What is the difference?
