Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Thank you for sending the Aloha Spirit to us in Colorado! You really captured the ambiance of the Polynesian Village. Thanks so much for sharing your photos! Funny how you miss the little things when you come home from staying Disney CL- even Butterfly Crackers! LOL -Seriously, we cannot find them at our local grocery stores anymore.... Good to see they flew south to Disney! Would you stay at the Polynesian CL again, or would you like to try a different one next time?
We probably would not stay again. It was a bucket list trip for us. As beautiful as the resort is, it is super busy and crowded. We have now stayed at all the Disney CL Resorts. My favorite would be Grand Floridian (Sugarloaf Building) and Boardwalk. We like the quietness after being in the parks. Another CL resort is Coronado Springs, we love 💗 the Club Level there!!! The service is amazing! The lounge is huge compared to the others. 🌺🌺🌺

So, after years of many CL stays, we are doing a regular room next week. Disney is NOT releasing the rooms as discounted stays like they have in the past (i.e. room available rack rate but not with a discount, but week or two out, all of a sudden available with a discount). I have tried so many avenues - Visa offer, stay longer, bounce back etc. The price difference was just WAY too much to make it even remotely worth it.

Do any of you recall whether the stay longer promo included club level rooms. I just switched from stay longer to AP discount and saved a nice amount. BUT, AP just 10% and stay longer was 30%. I don't think CL was included with stay longer....because I would have booked it. Just trying to reassure myself

I did see a few a couple weeks ago for a Poly CL stay later this month - I checked again and I can only see AP discounts now.

I don't recall whether the stay longer promo released for this time frame included it, but the current one for the summer to early fall definitely doesn't. :( We are paying rack for a single Poly CL night when we get off the Wish in September.

This made me check next week for science, and I see CR Tower, BC & YC, and BWI on the AP discount. It looks like 10%. Praying something comes up for our Sept night, even a little bit back would be nice.

Ugh! maybe made a mistake...YC has open rack rate CL. wonder if would have finally release under stay longer....

Just pieced together an amazon fresh order. BUT not the same for breakfast and snacks.

Trying to rack memory of last non CL stay and truly we were fine. Breakfast was from Ale and Compass or Starbucks and we likely ate less snacks. The dinners were better than YC app offerings so we'll be totally fine.

That stay longer discount seemed to come in 2 releases. I was able to book both YC WV & CR king tower club room for September with the stay longer when it was very first released. All CL rooms at all resorts were only 10% tho. They definitely are pulling back on CL discounts, doesn’t seem to matter what is available at rack rate either.

Thanks! You completely reminded me of what I booked. Since both offers were 10% I just booked the CL under the AP rate. When I went back to book a regular room for a more "reasonable" price, there were no AP but stay longer was available.

This totally reassures me. If Disney releases the CL no matter, it will be 10% only. We'll save close $400/night and keep the regular room.

Can confirm what I saw at the Poly CL was also a 10% discount identical to the AP one. We did however manage to snag a Contemporary Tower CL for a 30% discount also for the same stay later this month but this was with the Visa offer (which I also don't see listed anymore) so I think discounts for 10%+ are out there, just not as common as they used to be.

We were between a Tower CL and AKL CL but finally caved and chose Tower CL after how many people raved about it in this thread here. I have only stayed at Beach and Poly CL's before so excited to see how it compares!

If you google disney visa resort offer, it comes right back up to check for availability.

Yacht Club excluded....trust me, I keep checking...any and all ways.

Again, we'll be fine. Not sure why I even keep trying. Thinks it's because we haven't stay in a regular room in 3 years and we know the CM so well. That June 2021 trip was a covid trip so half the restaurants were still closed (or so it seemed), everything was mobile order and we knew it was an 'odd, one off sort of' trip. Outside of that we haven't had a non CL stay since 2017.

Good Gracious. That's why I keep checking... Honestly, I had not really thought about it but apparently we were diehard YC CL guests.

You will be fine without cl. I had a stay last August and other then morning coffee it was all good. We did get adult beverages in the various lounges and utilized mobile ordering. That said, I was lucky to be able to change my bounceback to cl this summer. Honestly, I think it's all a scam lol. I couldn’t get any cl last summer when I booked. I called to change my dates and suddenly only cl was available. I think they are holding out on them hoping to book them at higher rates.

Will ya look at that - you're totally right, googling the Disney Visa offer adds it right back to my list of offers. The mouse is being extra sneaky nowadays with discounts....

I also second this sentiment. CL prices without massive discounts are scam-level prices, even considering inflation and post-pandemic pricing. Treat yourself to extra snacks, drinks, and tchotchkes with the savings!

yes, extra, extra sneaky with the discounts!!! Water view has NEVER been available for us under AP or stay longer. Neither was resort view under AP.

This morning, 3 days before we leave, resort view popped up under AP. Now, fingers crossed for a water view to appear. Think that's why also checking and checking....the the views are certain for CL.

Yes, CL scam for these prices. I wrote extensively about all the YC CL changes over the years pages back. We would have done it 30%/35% off, but not paying what we just paid over Christmas for our stay in June. Holidays are expectedly different price points but not a random week in June when they are clearly struggling to fill the rooms.

Ah this is not a random week in June.

There is even a major private event at HS this week. HS closes at 5 PM. The SAP Sapphire Orlando ASUG Conference highlight is a live performance by Maroon 5 on Wednesday night (June 5), 9 - 10:15 PM.

This week is the start of Prime family vacations before it gets really hot.

we're there really next week. TONS of availability still. I could even have bounceback CL next week at several resorts. Just not YC/BC.

Didn't occur to me to check park hours.....

As a WDW newbie, I'm still getting used to the sticker shock with CL resort stays.... The only antidote seems to be mastering the art of timing bounce back offers and rechecking the website for new room rates. It's working so far but not sure how long I can keep up until I go the make-your-own CL route.

From experience, the Visa offers are never actually listed on the main special offers page. If you don't click the link in the email the easiest way is to look for the offers on the actual Disney cardmember site and click through to the page. I have the debit card so I always access it through disneydebit.com

Another method I use is to type “Visa” in the upper right corner search and hit enter. Then a list of Visa things show up and click on the one that looks like the current offer. That ‘unlocks’ it for me and then adds it to the available offers when searching for rooms.
