Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

So, questions about Standard CR CL. This is tower, yes? Is the sushi nightly?
Is it possible to put my DD21 on 2 rooms so she can access the CL for sushi, (DS20 and his GF staying in the room if it is tower) but sleep in the room with myself and DS11 CL TPV? Is that allowed or frowned upon? I don't want to break any rules, I just know she'll be upset if she misses out on sushi, but I want a room that has the 3rd sleeper and a TPV so I am staying put with my TPV CL room. :)
I obviously wont even attempt if it is not allowed. TIA
I do know that you can bring back food from the lounge to your room. I’m not sure if it’s considered breaking a rule if you have guests visiting your room when you do this

They are on the Tower Cl (14th floor aka 13th floor) but they don't list Atrium Club but just say Club.

14th Floor - Tower Club
Standard Room - King - Club Level - TPV only
Standard Room - Club Level - TPV or Standard (Bay Lake view

There are 3 2xQB rooms on the Tower Floor, and (2) King rooms on the Tower floor. The 2 King rooms are automatically TPV rooms. In the case of the 3 Queen rooms, 2 are TPV and 1 is a Bay Lake view.

Note: You can't book a specific view for the Standard rooms on the Tower Club rooms here are the specific room titles from the Disney reservation site for both Club Levels:

12th Floor Atrium CL
Theme Park View - Atrium Club Level (King or 2xQueen - bed type a request only)
Standard Room - Atrium Club Level - Bay Lake view (King or 2x Queen bed type a request. )

Dave
Thank you! I just booked it for first 1/2 of my trip.

In the morning, does CR CL have pots or urns of regular coffee out. I know they have a fancy nespresso machine, but trying to confirm if there is regular and/or decaf available? It’s hard to tell from the pictures. Thanks.

I’m not sure if she could be listed in 2 rooms in the same hotel. But, your son would need to be in the room with 2 queens & there is a fee for more than 2 adults in a room. Not sure how much it is currently, but I think it was about $35 a night for deluxe resorts. Not sure if club level is more.

I have BC CL booked from a Saturday- Tuesday in July. I’d prefer YC CL so my kids don’t have to share a bed and have a higher likelihood of getting a balcony. The YC standard view CL isn’t available Saturday- Tuesday, but it is Saturday - Wednesday. If I book YC CL Saturday - Wednesday, is it easy to drop that last day and keep the same rate later?

Looking into CR CL - this tub is in a standard CL room?

Which lounge has the sushi? Only one or both?

Most, if not all of the suites have that tub (which is in a combo tub/shower space). I know at least one of the “Standard Room - Club Level” rooms (which is the 2Q layout) has that same tub/shower setup, I’m not sure about the other two. The two “Standard Room - King - Club Level” rooms don’t have that tub (one is just a shower, one has a shower and a separate tub that is very similar to what is in most of the regular CR tower rooms).

Sushi is only offered on the Tower Club/14th floor.

Hope that helps!

May be a stupid question but I've never stayed club level but will be next week (Contemporary resort) I see people mention that they get an email or a call from disney before the start of their trip. Is this common when staying club level? I've only got the standard email reminding me of my upcoming trip and about doing online check-in

Not a stupid question at all!

There are two types of calls you see mentioned around here. One is from Disney Signature Services (DSS), this one often comes in the days or weeks right after you book, but it can be later. It’s generally a “DSS intro” type of call and they explain their services, etc.

The second call is one that comes from the resort CL directly, typically in the days or weeks prior to your arrival. They are calling to confirm things like arrival time, any allergies, celebrations, etc. These are actual CL CMs calling.

The DSS call has a long track record around here of being inconsistent. Many do get the call, but some don’t - and we’ve never really figured out any pattern.

For the second call, not every CL does the outreach - more and more seem to be doing it these days but it’s inconsistent. CR does typically make those calls but I stay there somewhat often and I don’t always get it.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your stay!

Thank you. I'm going to guess that it probably won't happen. I booked this a few months ago and never received anything. I leave on Thursday so not sure how late into the trip they try to contact. Im doing a multi split stay between Saratoga Springs, Contemporary and Grand Floridian. I guess as long as my reservation shows I have a Atrium club level room, that should be good enough.

I got a call from the CR 2 days before. I also got a call from the YC a couple of days before, but I don't remember exactly how many. It was pretty close to our trip though. I rarely get a call or email from DSS. I wouldn't worry if you don't get a call, it is hit or miss not everyone gets them. I got a call from the YC in March but did not in December.

It is all confusing at cr lol.

The suites AND the std 2 queen room in Tower do not charge extra for more than 2 adults.

You can check by searching for 2 then changing to 3 or 4 and price stays the same.

At all the resorts there is not an extra fee when booking suites. So sometimes it is cheaper than booking 2 rooms.

Thanks! I knew that about the suites but did not know the queen rooms didn’t get charged either.
