Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Touring plans has it set up where you can make the requests any time and then they send it a few days before your trip.

If I’m being honest, I wouldn’t put too much hope on your request. I’ve submitted a few preference requests and it never seems to work out. Last trip at BWI, I asked for an odd numbered CL room. Seems pretty basic, and even without the request, my odds should be 50/50. My room was even. Womp womp.

It doesn’t hurt to submit it, but my advice is to assume that you won’t get what you want so you will be pleasantly surprised if it works out but not starting off your trip on a disappointing note.
I make pretty mild requests. If i am not given my request upon arrival, I have sometimes had decent luck - politely - asking about a different room upon arrival.

That said, we have sometimes also been...surprised to discover that even though our room request was not met, our assigned room was even better. I'm not quite sure how to word that.

At the Swan, for example, we had requested a room facing Epcot. The room we were assigned did not face Epcot, so I asked about switching. She said she could do it, but none of the Epcot facing rooms were ready. We'd probably have to wait 2 hours, and this was already around 3pm. Well, it turns out that our assigned room was just gorgeous! It had windows on two sides, and it was in a super convenient location.

Happy birthday to your dd. A pogmosa I'd a great way to start your birthday!

How intense was Tron? I'm guessing you loved it lol.
It’s not that intense imo. It is definitely more fun in row 1. If you like RR and SM it’s similar.

Thanks everyone we are having a great birthday. I did do all the work ya know 😁

We did HM, BTMRR, Pirates, JC, Buzz, TTA and have TT and GOTG 3:30and 4. Then back to lounge and then back to MK for SDMT and SM and what ever else we book. Love Genie+!

Having Pinot noir with barbecue chips and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies in our room. 🍷😍

****Tower CL has some really good people. It has been “worth it” for sure this trip. *****

Happy Birthday to your DD. :cake: Yay Pogmosas! I'll be there next Sunday for my birthday.:woohoo: I think you should stay a few extra days, we check in on Saturday. It will be our first time staying at the CR. Thanks for posting the pics, keep them coming. Not too sure about those coddled eggs though. Does anyone like them? They don't get any love here, but somebody must eat them or they wouldn't keep making them. :confused3
Oh in case I forget “HappyBirthday WEEK!”

I don’t eat eggs period but they just look gross anyways!

Great pics, I’m so glad you’re having a blast!! G+ is the 💣.com.

Why with the coddled eggs? Why? I don’t like eggs or avocado, so that breakfast lineup super doesn’t appeal, but I do love the Tower lounge and all the other food lineups. I’m not much of a breakfast person anyways, and they DO have the chicken/biscuit thing now, so…

Even more tempted to add a day onto my visit!!

Why don’t they just put out a little quiches or even plain eggs or something more universally liked. They try too hard with breakfast—are people actually eating the coddled eggs?!?

We just got back from WL club level. They put my college-aged son and me (edit to say I’m his mom even tho my profile pic is Anakin Skywalker) in a king room and didn’t have a 2-queen to move us to - good thing we are close. Ironically, my only room request was to make sure we got 2-queens - the category I booked. This also happened to us in 2019 at BWI when I also booked 2 queens. Other than that, it was lovely. I didn’t think the food offerings were any better than YC, BC, or BWI, in fact, I think the offerings at Coronado in January may have been a bit better. There was a tomato bisque one night that was outstanding, but everything else was pretty standard, and the desserts were sub-par imo (but to be far, I always think Disney CL desserts are blah). We did not care for the beer on tap, which is what we were most excited to try. We hadn’t stayed at WL CL for at least 10 years (when the CL was on the opposite side), and while it was a great stay, I was reminded why we much prefer our stays on the Epcot area. Trips to MK were great, but everything else was a chore. I love the look and coziness of lodge; I wish it were more convenient!

I think I saw you at Tron last night if you are both tall .

My friend really enjoyed YC cl this weekend . It’s in my list to try !

Thx for the review .

The salads on little plates looks more appetizing than those little cups. So nice to have the place to yourselves. Enjoy. 😀

We are! Did my profile pic give me away 😆? I’m close to 6’, and my son is around 6’ 1”. He had on a Flynn’s Arcade shirt, and I had on an Off Grid shirt and (occasionally) lightcycle ears. Anything you had that would make me remember you? I’m jealous of your offerings! I’m eyeing the mashed potatoes & chickens nuggets - and is that a wedge salad?!

You just looked what I had imagined lol. Loved your shirts!

ill pm you a pic.

Thanks for sharing these pictures. Looks like you’re having a great time!
Anyone at Poly CL recently who can share what’s been going on there?
I was there 12/30-1/2 . I love the rooms, the look of the lounge, the convenient pool and beach access. However the food is minimal at this time. I say that because trips in the past 2013-17 ish was much better. I was hungry after appetizers, not much to choose from and small portions.

However I did compliment the chef on the edamame one night and he gave me a bowl of it vs a small bit under the meat they had that night,

It depends on your priorities.

Appreciate your feedback. Our trips are usually park heavy so I expect to only be there for appetizers a few evenings. We do plan to grab breakfast before heading out for the day but we don’t mind lighter offerings.

Make sure you don’t want breakfast before an early rope drop as it’s not out before 7am. If you’re more casual in the mornings, then breakfast generally works. If you want to be at the buses the recommended 90 minutes before early entry, the lounge likely won’t be open yet. Coffee will be accessible at 6:30 am but nothing else will be until 7:00am.
