Was talking to someone recently who said a new menu is coming soon to Chronos Club. Don't have details or timing (or even if that's accurate), but FWIW!
@GADisneyDad14 Thank you soooo much for your help, that was exactly what I was looking for with regards to location etc and your photos look make the Savannah look gorgeous!
Although….I take it there were a few animals at some point?!
I think your idea of keeping the request a little vague is a good one for me. I hate the pressure of making the wrong choice and am much more able to be happy with what is chosen for me!
Yes, I will definitely try to report back and post some pics. I did begin to wonder whether the 2 bed CL suites actually existed as there seems to be very little commentary about them anywhere!Well - that's arguably one knock on the Uzima view... it's not the animals don't go over there, but in my limited experience it seems like fewer do. I've stayed in regular CL rooms on the Zebra Trail and Kudu Trail sides and definitely saw more animals there, although that topic is always a bit YMMV.
Would love to hear how it goes when you get back if you have a chance to report. Not many reports about suites around here so the more the better.
Are the flights to Florida crazy for everyone? I can go to Aruba or Bahamas for less then orlando. It's nuts. I even looked at Tampa. Cheapest are 600. I usually pay 2-250 RT. Those are crappy times too. I don't know if I'm going to do it for that price![]()
I don't think they're adequately coddled.
Yeah, just booked some FL things yesterday and it’s pretty bad. Although I travel most weeks and everywhere is “bad” recently. I like to hoard miles for bigger trips/destinations, but I’ve started to use them to reduce ticket costs selectively (fortunately I have a lot of miles on hand). But otherwise, yeah, ouch prices these days.
I was just at MCO a few days ago and it was definitely the busiest I have seen since Covid.
It's depressing lol. I finally have my husband somewhat agreeing to go and flights stink. The flight times I want are 1200 ppYes, I agree that summer flights to Florida are crazy high. Other locations seem much cheaper. Guess Mickey is expecting lots of visitors this summer.![]()

Agreed prices have been nuts. I keep canceling and rebooking. The one time having or paying for free cancels is worth it. Many prices do drop eventually if you look everyday. It's depressing lol. I finally have my husband somewhat agreeing to go and flights stink. The flight times I want are 1200 ppno amount of disney golf will make him happy about that. I will keep stalking. My husband will also only go out of Newark though jfk is 45 minutes away (could be more with traffic). We always take a car there so it's not like he's driving. I also have college costs in the back of my head. Hopefully they drop a little. I should have enough points for round trip but don't have enough for 1 direction.
Hahahaha. My hubby has no clue, we pool points. I just looked and one of the flights was 50,000 points 1 way. I'm so torn on what to do. Flights went up since this morning. I need to pick a price point and just book it. I used to track jetblue on price hopper and Google flights but neither track JB anymore. Do you have an easy way to track? I just keep looking, multiple times a day.Agreed prices have been nuts. I keep canceling and rebooking. The one time having or paying for free cancels is worth it. DH keeps saying " who dipped into my Jet blue points??".
Me! I canceled and rebooked to save points!
Yep me too.I just keep looking, multiple times a day.
I always go United out of Newark. Keep checking. I also try to book midweek to save some money but a Sunday return to EWR will always be $$. If you can, return Monday or Tuesday. If you want a weekend RT you will pay a lot. I paid $285 RT for late May, booked it late Dec. Leaving on a Wed returning on a Sunday. Holiday weekend so even Monday was $$.It's depressing lol. You have to try one if you want to be in the CRCLCEC.@GADisneyDad14 a bit off topic but I love your quote in your signature line. It was one of my favorite sites to tide me over between trips. Really missing those spot on and clever reviews and beautiful pictures lately. Thanks for keeping the spirit going.
I am happy someone finally explained the whole egg thing. I would try them only because you all have talked about them (so its a bit of CR CL right of passage), but without that I would "blech" and walk right past.
I dont know if anyone answered about RPC CL (royal Pacific NOT GF RPC), but its a hard no for us. Its extremely minimal vs PBR. Not sure if you were around for the business class at CSR but its more like that. Pastries in the morning then very light in the evening. Unless its just a little more, like $25 vs a regular room, it really wasn't worth it. We wanted to try HRH CL but after @trishadono not so glowing review we decided to pass.I changed my dates so we could go to the halloween party! So excited. Last year was a wash out and I've never been. We would be getting back sunday/Monday and ods goes to college that Thursday. Sounds a bit crazy. It was his choice. I completely left it up to him. Has anyone been able to get a CL with Disney + discount? None available our week.
Also, doing universal split. Has anyone stayed royal pacific CL? We did portofino bay last year and enjoyed it.
Oh my. I am tearing up.@GADisneyDad14 a bit off topic but I love your quote in your signature line. It was one of my favorite sites to tide me over between trips. Really missing those spot on and clever reviews and beautiful pictures lately. Thanks for keeping the spirit going.
I didn't even think to look if flights are full. My kids don't like united because we had a bad flight once, this was when my oldest was afraid to fly.I always go United out of Newark. Keep checking. If you are looking for July-Aug I think it's still early. They will have to reduce prices 8-4 weeks out. Or maybe not, as I just checked random early flights Sat-Sat in July and the planes look pretty full.Ones coming back are full, too
Everyone going to Disney. Prices don't look like they're dropping until September.
Summer's too hot, anyway.

The Disney + discount seems wonky. The more nights I look at the more rooms that keep appearing. So can't get GF for 1 night or 2 but extend it to 4 (same dates) and it magically appears. Boooo! I did see the suites at CSR, WL and the cottages at BWI for 1 night. We were looking in mid-Aug. For reference
I usually look at other airlines but Delta usually requires a connection and JetBlue has bad times. Plus once we took JetBlue and they kept delaying our flight before finally cancelling it. That was terrible. At least United usually has lots of other available flights EWR-MCO.I didn't even think to look if flights are full. I had a bad Delta experience coming from the Bahamas. They canceled due to weather (understandable) but couldn't get us out for 4 more days. They wouldn't refund us, nothing. We extended our trip and had a great time but it made me not want to fly with them again. It was a zoo at the airport (again, not their fault). I don't like that United doesn't all have TVs.I usually look at other airlines but Delta usually requires a connection and JetBlue has bad times.
