Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Not the results we were hoping for, but at least the lymph nodes were clear. The tumor penetrated the colon wall, so we will see an oncologist next week for a treatment plan.
Just to let you all know, I heard from Cogsworth’s husband yesterday and her surgery went fine too. She is doing good.

Sorry to hear its not the news you wanted but also good to know its not in the nodes. Hoping that your DH has a good recovery. My friend went through colon cancer a couple of years ago and said chatting with other folks in the colon club was the only thing that got her through. It was just good for her to know she wasn't alone.

Glad to also hear about cogsworth doing well. Sending nothing but good vibes and prayers

As I wait for some medical results to come back (fingers crossed) I've been just pricing fantasy solo trips. Every time they put out discounts I, for some unknown reason, run to see if they opened CL rooms. Always worth a shot anyway. My husband noticed I always go in randomly and look at resorts with CL, sigh deeply, and then continue on way with whatever I got my laptop out to do. So of course I hear there are discounts that dropped, and I need to update my fantasy trip pricing, so I sadly did it again. One day, one day it'll happen and I'm gonna go crazy

just want to thank you for posting about discounted rooms. was able to save some money on my fort stay in July what a rare treat to get a discount at the Fort. priced out August but would have cost me more. Thanks again. to keep this CL, someday CL will be back. I have an upcoming booked CL stay June 7 and have heard nothing from them at all. that is very sad.

I remember having some talk about Clear a while back, well I did sign up for the 2 month free trial the other day to see if it’ll help at MCO, and since the next “pod” of Yankees tickets went on sale through June my mom is treating me to a game the weekend before my birthday. That’s the last day game at home before my trip. They have Clear at the stadium so I will get to have a trial run of it there. We just have to bring our vaccination cards to get in otherwise.

It feels so good to get even a little bit back to normal. I can’t remember the last time I went to a game!

You need either proof of recent negative Covid test (I think 24-48 hrs?) or proof of vaccination to get into Yankee Stadium. Not sure about Citi Field (I haven’t been to a Met game since it was Shea lol) but I would assume it’s similar.

It’s funny, mom and I are both Yankees fans, my grandpa was a Met fan because he was a Dodgers fan until they broke his heart and moved. He would never go for the Yankees lol. So half my family ended up pinstripes and the other half are Mets. Makes the subway series really fun!

Nice! Aruba! Where are you staying? We're usually at the Poly in the Hawaii building for the 4th of July, but this year we're going to actual Hawaii the week of the 4th so we can get CL ! I hope you have a great trip to Aruba!

Haha. I've been to Citi field a few times, still call it Shea. I because a Yankees fzn because my brothers liked the mets lol. My husband and I (before we were married) went to game 1 of the 2000 World Series. I was dressed in Yankee stuff head to toe and him in Met clothing. It was hysterical. I dragged him to the bowling alley for drinks before the game lol. Quite the sight at a Yankee bar.

Hahaha to actually Hawaii for CL. Have a great time! We are staying at the Hilton. We are going with 2 other couples - kid free. I've never been away from my kids for a whole week, hope I manage we've never been before and I just started looking up tours and stuff.

Ok, I could use some tips. My husband always golf's one day during our trip. He doesn't love Disney so we convince him with golf lol. Anyway, it's too early to book but I can't book a single in advance. I think I have to wait until a few days before this isn't helpful with all the planning required. Signature services was always able to book for me. Clearly that's not happening this summer. Is there somewhere else nice to golf close by? Suck it up and wait or book and pay for 2 people even though he's a single to snag a tee time. Do you think he will get one days before?

Disney has a bunch of revenue to catch up on. My assumption is that all and every possible cash stream and monetized perk will be opened by October, if not a few months before to make sure things are running smoothly by opening of the 50th. Prepare to be fleeced if you are going next year...

Club level closing is due to the pandemic. I am assuming that Disney does not want people drinking and eating in close quarters in a small lounge area. I will also assume that Disney does not want to monitor every breakfast, snack and light dinner option to see if adults and children are gathering every food, utensils, plates properly.
