Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

How dare you complain on an internet message board :rotfl2:

Bring back the Back to the Future attraction at Universal. Then Delorean Time Machine to October baby!
IMO it is! I love RPC. Depending on your plans, you could get breakfast, snacks, afternoon tea, apps & desserts possibly for both days, since you can access the lounge fro check in til closing the next day. For 3 people, that will save a lot of money right there. And if you enjoy beer, wine or cordials, you’ll save even more. Enjoy!
We will be coming in evening but I think it will still be worth it. Since we can use it the next day as well. Thanks for your help.

I agree with PP. Not sure of the context of the rest of your trip (if any), but a short one or two night stay at a CL is a great way to try something without the commitment of a longer trip.

If you’re all theme park all the time, then no - but if you like your time at the resort (even if just breakfast), I vote CL.
It's the start of our trip probably will be coming in about 5p but planning to spend the whole next day at GF till late afternoon then do Epcot and check into our next resort so I think it's worth it as well since we will be in the area.

Just back from BWI CL in a garden suite. A few brief thoughts...

Overall really enjoyed it, but my least favorite WDW CL to date.

Thanks for your review. Glad you had a nice stay overall :).

I am sadly back from my trip with stays at both BWI & AKL CLs, and while BWI lived up to the hype and then some I was sadly disappointed in the AKL CL. While the food they did have was tasty (but very VERY spicy on one evening) the selection was horrible. It may have been that I was truly spoiled at BWI, but based on my other CL experiences this just fell flat.

I am really excited though, I managed to book a BB offer for our trip right before our Christmas cruise this coming December, finally trying CR atrium CL!

I'm sorry AKL CL wasn't up to par with your other CL stays, but hope you had a great time overall. Congrats on the BB. We (finally) tried CR CL this past December and it was amazing! Hope you have a great time :wizard:.

So I have a 1 night at the Grand reservation right now I could change from an outer building-theme park view non cl to a main bld standard view club level for a $177.12 difference. Is this change worth? There are 3 of us traveling.

Yes! Have a great time :goodvibes.

I agree with both of the above :thumbsup2.

What can you tell me about Contemporary CL? I'm considering a CL theme park view room for a future trip for the fireworks. From watching videos and reading, I understand there are probably better club levels on property but how is this one in general? Would it be better to not splurge and just do a main building room theme park view? I figured 12th floor would provide a great view.
The CL lounge and view of fireworks from tpv rooms at the contemporary are both fantastic!! I highly recommend!!

Here’s a pic of the view from my balcony... a plate of Desserts from the lounge and MK fireworks in the background.

Oh my gosh, we dreaded those stairs at night too! My legs felt like lead going up. I thought we were the only ones! 😂
Definitely not the only ones lol! The night I had to pack to transfer to AKL the next day I had walked nearly 30,000 steps, and being the smart cookie that I am decided it would be best to put my suitcase downstairs and carry the stuff down (it was a bit hard to get up, and I was alone, so I feared taking it back down fully packed). Well, after a dozen trips up and down and walking so much that day I was in a bit of rough shape, got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and my legs decided they weren't moving. I thought I was going to have to crawl to the bathroom. By the next morning I was vowing never to stay in a room with stairs again, but at least now I know lol

Well, sorry for all of the photos. Sorry you can’t see the food all that well, I felt strange taking all of the photos so I really didn’t want to get close enough to get each food and the label separately; I hope you can at least get the gist. I was very pleased with the food here, and for us any service we happened to be around during was enough to make a meal out of. We still make our favorite ADRs, although I backed off a bit this trip, and we still eat in the parks on our longer park days, but I feel we can eat many of our meals from the lounge and be content. Today we went to captain cooks just because we like it, but I stopped as we walked through to see what they had, so we hit every service today.
