Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Hi GADisneyDad14 :) We have done 2 DCL concierge cruises on the Fantasy and absolutely LOVE DCL... I would never want to do a NON Concierge cruise. What didn't you love about DCL Concierge? I am curious, has it gone downhill?? We haven't gone since 2017, and have sailed other lines inbetween.... star class on RCCL and currently booked to try our first Celebrity Retreat cruise in January 2026. We are 2 adults and we actually really like DCL concierge - I am holding out to see how celebrity is before we go back to DCL again. :)

Hi there. I think the intent of my comment was maybe lost in tone or context from the other discussion at the time, but I didn't mean that as a negative at all - more like with DCL concierge we got a glimpse that was much more of a true 'concierge' white glove type of environment that you don't really get at WDW. Not really fair to compare the WDW resort product with the DCL product as it's pretty apples and oranges, but it was nice to have a Disney experience where the upcharge we chose to pay felt totally worth it from everyone in our party.

Food looks good. Enjoy! Were the spring rolls as good as the ones in MK?
I think they were actually better than the MK ones, they seemed a bit lighter? They didn’t have the special sauce but the curry ketchup they had instead was really good.

So glad that you are enjoying your stay and that you finally got to live your poly CL dream.

Thank you! We were talking about it this morning and I think for a case like this where we just wanted to wind down after the cruise it was perfect. Not sure it would be worth it over the course of a week long trip with the way we like to do the parks. While we have resort days set aside and long afternoon breaks I don’t think we would really utilize the lounge to that extent with just two of us. I think we would definitely do it again for pre or post cruise or a resort centric stay with minimal park visits. I was so grateful to not have to go far for food etc.

Breakfast at the Contemporary atrium club has been pretty solid the past two days. The crepes this morning were delicious!
Thank so much you for sharing pictures! We’ll be at the Atrium Club in 11 days, so I’m feeling giddy seeing the yummy breakfast selections.

@kylenne so glad you are enjoying the Poly CL. It’s next up on our wishlist. The spring rolls are a major plus! I agree about the practicality of staying CL in relation to one’s touring style. And agree that having food access close by is so nice. Another part of the CL food service I appreciate is the buffet style, and I can take as much or as little as I’m in the mood for. With all other Disney dining (minus the character buffets), I feel pressure not to waste, and often overeat, especially with my DD’s meals. That’s all on me of course, but I appreciate the freedom to choose my portion! Also, the coffee… ::yes::

Always looking...so much fun. Which CL rooms at WL would you request? From looking at photos, I think it looks like some of them (or all) put you looking down from the 7th floor to the large lobby area when you exit your room? I have stayed WL in the past, but not CL.

We got back home last night after a delayed flight but unfortunately it seems I have a case of the post cruise vertigo. Seems the rough seas Thursday night caught up to me yesterday and I got sick at the Oasis pool. I sat inside the Hawaii reception area until our driver to the airport arrived (I did not trust myself to attempt the stairs to the lounge). I can’t speak highly enough about the concierge staff in there. They gave me tummy meds, brought me ginger ale and sparkling water from the lounge, and constantly checked up on me. There were some phone outages yesterday at the Poly but Grace worked diligently to contact Bell Services and got us a cart ride to the front of the resort. I left her and Michele each a cast compliment in the app for it. I was extremely grateful for how well they took care of me—my partner was going to get me pretzels to settle my stomach but they leapt into action.

MCO was another story…I asked for wheelchair assistance because I felt so unsteady on my feet, and while they were great, getting stared at by other pax was so uncomfortable. People make so many assumptions and I guess I’m too young looking to need one in their eyes. GF tried her best to shield me from it but it was tough.

I’m feeling less dizzy today thankfully and am on nausea meds. But the care we received at Poly CL will stay with me for a long time.

Hmm of the WL 7th Floor rooms, only the 2 Honeymoon King suits over look the lobby. Therest of the rooms on the 7th floor are in the north wing. From those rooms you can stop and view the lobby down below as you walk to main Elevators.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Glad that they took such good care of you at the Poly CL

What is special or different about the Honeymoon rooms at Wilderness Lodge? I believe they are the same 340 or so square feet as a standard WL room so I'm just wondering what earns them the special name. Is it just the king bed? The Polynesian has Honeymoon rooms too but I'm pretty sure they are at least larger than the standard rooms.

They are just about the same size as a standard room with a King bed. However they have a double size Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The ceiling in the bedroom is vaulted vs a regular room with an average ceiling height. They are on the same 7th floor as the Old Faithful Club lounge right across the balcony overlooking the lobby below.

Yes but it (1) honeymoon room is in the Tonga building and well away from the Hawaii Club building. Yes they access to the small Tonga Club on the second floor of the Tonga building but to hot food items you need to trek to the King Kamehameha Club in the Hawaii building.

Before the Covid shutdown they did have free 24/7 Private Dinning (room service) but alas it has not returned.

Thanks! Always looking for new info!

Sorry your ending was as magical as you would have hoped. You’ll just have to book a redo!

Again it was nice to finally meet you. I told dh I could have sat in the lobby with you for hours chatting lol. Maybe next time!

We definitely will! And it was so nice to meet you too. We gotta have another Dismeet!

Our TA was actually able to find us water view Poly CL on bounceback for our usual May dates next year and we thought very hard about it but our friend is coming with us so we opted to save the money and book a DVC studio instead. Having the extra shower would be more important imo. We are splitting with a couple nights BWI at the front.

We will be staying CL at WL in January. We are planning to request a courtyard view room. Although waking up to see the castle would be lovely, I really love the courtyard at WL. My husband also would like to watch the Electrical Light Water Pageant from our balcony (we know we will have to stand). Anyone have a room recommendation?

Second question, my son has a peanut allergy. It appears WL CL staff reach out before the stay and one of the questions is about food allergies. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with WL CL and food allergies? I would expect that it wouldn't be too much of an issue based on how Disney handles food allergies (one of the reasons we like Disney), but just wondering if anyone else has experience with it.

I saw some of your posts, looks like you had a great time (until the vertigo). Hope you are feeling better now?

I compared this with my BB rate for GF RPC in late Feb, and the BB rate saves several hundred a night more than this discount, so I did the math - this is 15%, at least for my dates/resort. Better than 10, but not 35!

My bounceback rate and availability is better for February too, and I just booked it this morning after seeing what was available with the new discounts. Hoping the lack of a good discount for February doesn’t mean the parks are going to be packed…
