Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

AFAIK you have to take the elevator to get to RPC. Once you are on the 3rd floor there are easily accessible stairs between floors 3 and 5, but you have to take an elevator to get to at least 3. I’m sure there are stairs for emergencies, but I have never seem any for guest use. We were in a deluxe king room in the second floor once, and from that section we had to take an elevator to get to 3 or 4 for the lounge or concierge, or lobby access, and then another elevator down to the main lobby and monorail. How I would have loved stairs to make that easier, or a door to let us out onto the second floor where the shops and elevator are.

That is good to know. I'll wait until if/when SL comes back to try out GF CL. Thanks!

My room was one of those deluxe king rooms on the 2nd floor and that was the one drawback. In the future I will probably request 3rd floor or higher when we book it again. It was a little annoying getting to the lobby, but still somehow less annoying than practically having to take the Silk Road at YC. But it was one of the reasons I ended up using the walking path and resort launch to and from MK most times. Was just more convenient than the monorail from the room, especially being so close to that back elevator.

I'm looking forward to using the walking path! With tweens and teens they will enjoy getting to and from on their own steam and not having to wait for the monorail. Though I suspect that the boat back will still be an attraction after a long day walking around the MK

Maybe an odd question--but how accessible is RPC if you don't use elevators? A family member has severe claustrophobia and only uses stairs, but can climb up to 5 flights. I assume there is stair access to be compliant with fire codes, but not sure if guests have regular access to the stairs.
The elevators are nice though. They're not all dim and scary. Maybe I am thinking of the stairs that go to the second level. I know that once you are at the CL level, you can use stairs between those levels.

Fire codes require stairs. It is not well known where they are but there are stairs...I'm sure if your family member explains their claustrophobia they will tell you where they are.

Something tells me the noodles will be back, this isn't the first time they tried that and there was an uproar and they walked it back. I just wonder if the noodles will still be available at Tambu Lounge.

I mean, I love rice, and I never ate the shrimp anyway because I don't like seafood. I just don't see what's especially Asian or Polynesian about kielbasa and casserole lol.
Probably giving them too much credit, but maybe a bit of ‘60s luau kitsch?

I do not like their elevators - and while I do use them I have had to use the steps when one elevator was down since I refuse to play the game of how many humans can fit into one elevator. So I asked about the steps and they do have steps off of the 2nd floor over by the shops by the main stair case just ask a cm and they will escort them so they feel comfortable.

There are fire escape stairs at the end of the hall that lead out nicely for the bus stop on that end.

They are unlocked. However I can’t remember but assume to get in there is a mb access thing. On 2nd floor DH uses stairs bs elevator, he doesn’t care for elevators .

@kylenne deluxe king is the 2nd floor. If you want rooms above 3/4 that’s TPV RPC. The turret rooms are also deluxe king but they use those mostly for upgrades. I always ask butI’m 1/4 with success.

Ah ok thanks! The room categories there are kinda confusing to me.

It is not just you, it took me a while to learn of of the categories. The touring plan room finder is nice. It is a big help identifying those suites throughout the resort:thumbsup2

I was on the touring plan site but couldnt find rooms onCR CL. Do I need to join?

Just as an update to noodlegate 2021, they are bringing the noodles back. It was just announced on their tiktok page.

Anyone have any idea when/if fall/winter discounts might be announced. I'm holding out hope before I book a CL thats they'll be some sort of discount. If there isn't any, I've waited this long, I'll just wait a bit longer...

I'm 5 months out from our trip (6 nights GF RPC) and I feel like I have 100 simultaneous plans going on... will there be FPs? what about CL FPs? totally new FP system? which restaurants will be open? will there be character dining?

I guess this prolongs the fun of planning, but I feel like I have no idea what October will actually bring.
