Disney's Christmas Parade

I know every year I watch the Disney Christmas parade on TV. When do they actually tape it . Is it always the same every year? The reason I ask is we are going to Disney Dec 2-9 next year and wonder if the park will be decorated for christmas.

I want to know who is hosting th parade this year hope it is regis and kelly..I wnet to the show a few weeks ago and they are soooo nice....

The parade is to be taped December 2 and 3

If past history repeats itself next year, you will be there for the filminig. The filming is usually the first weekend of December (with the first Saturday taking the bulk of filming).

And yes, Regis and Kelly are hosting this year again

Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade
An annual tradition, The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade again brings the magic of Walt Disney World Resort at holiday time into the homes of millions of ABC-TV viewers. Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa host the festivities, which feature a variety of celebrity appearances and musical performances.

Front and center is the parade itself, which showcases favorite Disney characters as it makes its way down Main Street, U.S.A. This year's program will feature parade elements from both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland in California -- a fitting tribute during the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" honoring 50 years of Disney parks that began with the opening of Disneyland.


The annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade will be broadcast on December 25 at 10 am - noon (EST); 9 am - 11 am (CST); 8 am - 10 am (MST); and 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm (PST).

The parade will actually be taped on December 2 and 3 in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, so expect more crowds and congestion than usual in the park on those days.

Christmas decorations go up right around thanksgiving so the park will absolutely be decorated when you go! As for the parade I think this year it's next week.......I bet if you call one of the hotels they would tell you but they might not have next years date exactly set.
