That's what we did :). Three kids. One in one bed. One in trundle. One on air mattress. Plenty of room for a twin air mattress between bed and door.

Does anyone know if CBR has parking passes on magic bands yet? We'll be driving and were hoping to head to a park before checking in at the resort.

I believe that your bands are activated on the day of arrival, meaning that all options that you paid for should be ready to go.

Oh i didn't know this..I thought you had to check in first before it gets activated!! Is this definitely confirmed? IF so, that's great--that changes my plans somewhat!

I'd be especially happy if anyone could confirm that they have stayed at CBR AND used their magicband to enter parking lots at Disney parks.

They could always trade off sleeping on it.

Ha ha...This reminds me when on the Disney cruises my 2 kids would fight to get the upper bunk! Good old days...(my kids now 18 and 22!) But i resolved it by half the trip, and other the other half...and it sometimes ended up uneven nights (like 7 night cruise) ..then they rock paper scissors game and or they do s own some kind of bribery to each other and the best kid win that last night in the upper bunk! LOL!!

Well we are there an even number of days and there's an odd amount of kids BUT I will have them trade off and I get to decide who gets it the last day based upon behavior.

The countdown has reached single digits until we leave for the happiest place on earth. My house feels like a ticking time bomb waiting to exploded with excitement. My DD(7) has her bags packed and is trying to pack for my DS(1). She is constantly watching youtube videos about what we can do on our trip, she even has her whole Disney dvd collection out and is forcing my little man to watch all the movies with her explanation being... "How will he recognize the characters if he doesn't watch the movies". This will be our 3rd trip to CBR and we are totally in love with the resort.

Lets rock this next week and make the 17 hour drive feel like 3

The bands are activated when you arrive at MCO and get on the MDE. I know that for a fact because you have to touch your band to the machine to prove that you have MDE scheduled. So I would guess that the bands are good ASAP.

To fax or not to fax, that is the question. Should I be faxing room preferences? They've been noted on my reservation when it was made by my TA, and I also made the same requests with on-line check-in. Is it overkill to fax preferences, too? And, if I should fax, what number do I fax it to and when should I send the fax? Two weeks until check-in!!

Up until a few months ago, most believed that it did no good to fax requests to the majority of the Disney resorts (the Port Orleans Resorts being one of the exceptions). However, several here have reported that they faxed in their requests and they were acknowledged at check-in. I always like to make a call about a week to ten days prior to our arrival just to make sure that my requests are noted on the reservation. If you have a travel agent, you may have to have them call.
