Just got home Sunday from CBR. And I just have to say that I LOVED it. Such a beautiful resort. Buses were great, food was really good (we ate at Shutters our last night which was awesome). We got a free upgrade to a preferred in Martinique 24 (room 2418-no Murphy bed BTW) and it was super close to everything. I booked the BB offer. Right now, I'm booked at Music just because it's only going to be me and my son next September but I'm about to call and change it to CBR. I can't imagine not coming back here lol!

All of these issues is making me have a sour taste in my mouth even before I arrive... Which I hate!
I have waited a long time for this trip!!!

I feel the same way and we arrive Saturday for our first ever visit with CBR.

I am here now and the splash pad is still closed. Playground is still accessible from opr side only. No playgrounds on the beaches. Bridge closed is a bit of a pain but making the most of it. We are in Jamaica 45 and although there is a mini bus available, I think it's a bit of a squeeze and prefer to take the boat or walk to opr. I'm a very slow walker and it's 10 mins at most for me but lovely grounds so doesn't seem as long

Wow, that stinks. I was just looking at pictures from my In Laws stay at CBR 2 weeks ago and there were pics of my nephews playing on the playground by the Jamaica Beach. So they are also gone from the Martinique and Trinidad South beaches? If you have a chance, could you ask the Concierge why they removed them and if they're coming back? Thanks for the update.

Thanks, having a great time Maybe there's a playground in Trinidad south as I haven't been there. I only walked past Martinique and i thought there was only the fire pit and volleyball net. I will double check today and confirm for you just to be sure

Oh good thanks, I was afraid it was that and my little DD would be heart broken. Hoping it will be open again when we get there.
I convinced DH to get hoppers instead of water park because of the cool pool at CBR...lol

a few pages back there is a report of one person who talked to a CM and they gave them the waterpark option because the pool was down.

Now you just need to ask yourself, do you feel up to making that big of a stink.

Any suggestions on a specific room # for Martinique? Standard view w/a Murphy bed. I know it's a long shot but worth a try. Oh..and if it's a ground even better. I'm so excited to go! 45 days out!
