Wow, these would be so cool! We're driving, so it would be nice to have that to refer to - I'm always on the fence about whether to drive to a park or hop a bus (except for MK, where we always take a bus). If we could just swing by the bus stop and see what the waits are it would make my decision easier I wonder how accurate they are...

They were at Music when we stayed last month and they were very accurate then. I'm hoping they are at CB by next month!

There is a boat at both the Magic Kingdom and Contemporary Resort that you could take to get to Wilderness Lodge. The only ferry at TTC goes to the Magic Kingdom.

We drive and we are the same as you about when to take the car or bus. The first year we were at CBR in Trinidad South and the bus stop was at the building so we would stop by there and if the bus we wanted wasn't there then we would walk to our car. It was really nice, but last year we had to walk through the parking lot to get to the busses, so we had to determine if we were driving prior to leaving our room and several times we would be pulling out and see the bus we needed. Then other times we would wait upwards of 15 - 20 minutes for our bus and I would be thinking I could already be at the park! So after all that rambling, I really just wanted to say I think having the boards would be nice as well and even better if you could see them on your MDE app (wishful thinking I know)!

No boat to WL from TTC. The only boat is the large ferry boat between TTC and MK. But you can take a boat from WL (where Whispering Canyon is located) to the MK. There are two of them, one smaller and one larger.

I know what you mean! We play this game too - if we're heading to the car, someone is always looking back over their shoulder at the bus stop saying "Mom, this one might be our bus - maybe that would be faster". Such a guessing game! I usually prefer to drive though, just because it's faster at the end of the day, getting back to the hotel, too. I have to say though, when we fly, we've NEVER had long waits for the busses at CBR.

A little surprised reading trip advisor that people recently felt the rooms outdated. Wasn't the entire resort refurbished?

Does anyone know if the store sells Aloe gel (in case of a sunburn). We do our best to prevent sunburns, so we probably won't need it. But, if one of us accidentally gets one, I was just curious if I could buy Aloe gel in the store, rather than lugging the big bottle down in the suitcase! Thanks!

I would go get a small bottle or container at the drug store and fill it to take, just in case. Like a mini shampoo bottle or even an old prescription bottle maybe.

Most of it, I believe. Don't know if all of it was refurbed. The room we were in was, and it was fantastic!

Trinidad South was the only resort not refurbished. Everything else is now completely done.

Yes they do. I'd get some gel in the airport, if you are flying, when you land. Or if you are driving, stop outside the gate and get some aloe.

Thank you! I just found the link on Touring Plans where you can see all the room types on the map. I think that must have been where I saw it.

We arrive at 2pm and plan to spend the whole first day just exploring the resort. We'll unpack, swim, eat at the resort, maybe go to any evening activities, then get to bed early for our first park day.
