yeah yeah... i'll have to write a little trip report on the experience..i hope i don't burn anything!!:rotfl:

I am actually surprised everything is not sold out yet. I went online to see and it looks like everything is pretty much still open. I decided not to do the NR Cooking School and go to the outlet mall with DH instead. :thumbsup2 But I plan on eating there that weekend so at least I will get my NR fix.

I am too. And either it's not that popular that the DLR website isn't having major issues like normal or DLR actually fixed their system.

Hi,
I have been really surprised - it was no problem signing up and only one event is sold out-

4/30 dinner with John Lasseter
5/1 dinner with MacMurray winery
5/3 sweet treats

I'm going solo so if anyone is attending any or all of these events would love to meet up with fellow Dis'ers!:)

This sounds like great fun! I'd love to do this one year...are all events on weekends at DLR (aren't they every day at WDW's F&W event?)

I'm not surprised that there is still a lot of availability - there always has been in the past, too - some of the events still had tickets available right up until the time they started - I know they were still selling Taste tickets on the day of last year. I was really excited about the John Lasseter thing until I saw the price - that's out of my budget.

You guys are really going to love spending time with Chef Sutton and the team. Andrew is such a phenomenal person (and a friend, to boot). He's done some wonderful, special things for us over the years. If i had the money, I'd do it with you in a heartbeat - just not this year....

Wowie am I jealous of those who can go to the Lasseter one!

And I didn't know he had a winery...sure does explain this (from the Ratatouille Main Street window) a bit better!

I will be there for some of the events but no way will I spend that much to take a class....esp since I dont drink lol But I am looking forward to new treats around the park. I am hoping to at least eat at NR sometime :(

It makes a lot more sense now. I didn't know he had a winery until this list came out either.

Hi,
I'll be sure to give a report after the event - I don't like the price either but since it seems like lately that if you don't take advantage of an opportunity (within reason) it may never come again-like Mousefest this year - am so glad I went in 2008 since this hiatus has now occurred for 2009. :hippie:

Anyway, Lasseter is one of those creative geniuses that I would like to meet and Fred MacMurray was someone I grew up with -so to meet Mr. Lasseter as well as a member of the MacMurray family-well, I had to do it.

I'm also going to the Disney annual meeting March 10 - guess I might find out "RU23"?!

I saw Kate MacMurray when she was at the F&W Festival 2(?) years ago doing the wine tasting sessions, and she was really good. She told a few stories about her father and Walt Disney. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time at the dinner!
