I'm checking in on Wednesday and so excited!!!! 1st time at BWI. Sad that I'm just missing F&G but cannot wait to try the Cake Bake, Flying Fish, Trattoria and the corn dog stand (lol). I'm normally a Poly girl but always wanted to stay here, especially since my original BWI trip was canceled due to the pandemic.

I’m a Poly girl too and my ideal trip is now the split we just ended between them. The street corn dog in particular is sooooo good.

It looks like the old Boardwalk Funnel Cakes Kiosk that was closed in early 2021 with an updated paint job. It's location appears to be right next to the Friendship dock. Another picture with the front should confirm it.

It is the closed funnel cake kiosk. I was there recently and it was still not being used for anything. There was no signage or any indication of activity.

There used to be someone stationed right next to the funnel cake kiosk doing hair braiding. That's been gone for a while too, though not as long as the funnel cakes.

BoardWalk's Belle Vue Lounge Faces Brief Closure​

The Belle Vue Lounge at Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas will reportedly be closed from June 9-11, 2025 for a brief refurbishment.

No specifics were given regarding the nature of the closure, other than to perform maintenance.

Quick question. We usually stay at YC/BC but are thinking of a Boardwalk stay this summer. Can you see Epcot fireworks from any of the pools at BWI or BWV? We usually enjoy doing that in SAB.

The "quiet pool" on the Inn side has a good view towards Epcot. One year we enjoyed a room that overlooked that pool. The Villa pool and the Luna Park Pool are blocked towards Epcot by the Villa buildings. A quick glance at Google maps will show this.

We have enjoyed many stays at the Boardwalk, including one on the Villa side.

Roller Coaster Scene Installed in Remodeled Store at Disney’s BoardWalk​

Crews began refurbishing Screen Door General Store in February, with major construction wrapping up in May. The roller-coaster scene is one of the final touches added to the store. A miniature metal coaster track runs through the window, in front of a black and white BoardWalk backdrop.


Lights along the coaster track light up, simulating movement. “Disney’s BoardWalk Resort” is on a decal in the center window. There are three mannequins on the right wearing BoardWalk apparel available for purchase inside the store.

Can anyone tell me if I can fill my water bottle with filtered water anywhere at the Boardwalk ? We probably aren't getting refillable mugs.

I don't know if it's filtered but inside the gym at the Boardwalk is an office type water cooler you could use.

There is a water bottle refill station across from Belle Vue Lounge where the pay phone's used to be.

anyone heard any rumors of big river grille and/or jelly rolls replacement? My wife and i feel like Jelly rolls site would be sold out every night if they brought back the Adventurer's Club and put it there!

Only thing rumored is that Disney was planning to replace Jelly Rolls with their own Jazz Club. No details have followed the early rumors. Nothing new for Big River Grill but a discussion concerning that issue with that space being able to add a Fryer since there are guests rooms only 1 floor above the space. BRG never had a Fry option. They only offered Potato Chips.
