Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

On our MK days, if we wanted to come back to swim/rest midday, what is the average length of time the shuttle takes each way? I think BWV/BWI is the only stop, but I don't know how often they run, location to get on bus, etc. any input on if this is worth doing is appreciated!

I can check-in online in 9 days!:bounce:

Does anyone know what the different possible requests are during on-line check-in? We are staying in a standard view, 1-bedroom villa, booked directly through Disney. Thanks!

Still booked BWI CL :) 169 to go until we depart Hard Rock and head home to my happy place

Woohoo!!! Boardwalk babe!!! :goodvibes

Ok, who knows the chairs' names? And yes, they do have names!

Not me....:confused3

I would say rule of thumb about 30 minutes each way...

I did not know they have names! Just thought they were nanny chairs!

I just thought they were scary chairs...lol..

It's my first time at BWV this August! Woohoo!!

Question about transportation. BW has their own MK buses now right, no sharing? Which resorts does it tend to share with for AK and Downtown? And in what order are they picked up?

Thanks so much!!!

Swan and Dolphin--when we were there it was BWI & BWV/Swan/Dolphin and to park. The dedicated bus route from BWI/BWV to MK began the week we were there in October.

I've bounced around for a place for DH and I this Friday night. I finally took the plunge to try out something I've been wanting to do for a long time, one of the Garden Cottages.
We won't be there till evening but we aren't heading out early on Saturday so we'll have a chance to hang out and enjoy the room and the CL amenities.
We'd never pick one for a longer stay as I wouldn't want to deal with stairs after a long day in the parks. So this ended up being the perfect time to check it out

That sounds lovely! Hope you have a wonderful stay. :goodvibes

By the way, there's not much point in a room request online for the cottages, is there? None of the options will really apply, will they?
I mean,
There is no Boardwalk view
There is no near elevator
There is no floor to pick
