can any one tell me what time the films are on and our they every evening , I am going in august and we always visit the boardwalk so this would be a great thing to do .

The films were on every night when we stayed last May so i presume August will be the same. I think they start about 8-9 pm. As you walk past the beach where the screen is there is a sign with all the films showing that week and when.

oh my boys would love watching the movies on the beach and fort wilderness!!! it does say no tickets required or passes asked for, but i would worry turning up as we do not stay on site! has anyone staying off site had a problem going to watch these films??

Dont worry you will be fine. If you look on the Beach Club movie link it says"Open to all Disney guests, not just those staying at the resorts":thumbsup2

I would add the boat ride from OKW to DTD is great - especially at night.
 
Ooh liking the idea of a movie to keep the boy amused! Is beer available? Alcoholic? Moi? hehe but I do love an ice cold tasteless beer in the florida heat!! :goodvibes

Yes they have plenty of tasteless beer there, Bud, Bud Light etc. At the Marketplace inside the BC you can also get bottles of wine, and at Hurricane Hannahs next to Stormalong Bay you can get beer, wine and frozen cocktails.
 
OK this may not seem hidden to WDW experts but on our first trip I didn't realise that we could visit and eat at any restaurant at any resort.
 
laura i emailed someone at gf private dining, cant remember her name but i did it all by email and was so easy, was expensive for the two of us but so worth it

The Intimate Dining Experience is 2 hours long and costs $95 per person plus a $75 charge for the Butler. The Butler will escort youto your dining location and serve you during the 2 hours. We offer two locations - 3rd floor outdoor balcony, which overlooksour courtyard, Seven Seas Lagoon and has limited viewing of the fireworks. If the weather is poor or cold we will move you to our 5th floor indoor balcony. This location offers the same view, and since it is indoors you can hear ourorchestra and pianist. If you decide to reserve this experience, please email me your food andbeverage selections, name of your guest, any special occasion, plus your credit card information.
