Ok-- Here's a question for ya!
We're going to AKL in a few days (yay!!!) as non-concierge guests (no availability). Is there any chance getting to go on the Sunrise or Sunset Safari? Like, if it isn't very full, they would let regular resort guests do it? It's probably a total long shot, but I wondered if anyone had ever had that opportunity.
TIA! :)

A few weeks ago, someone said that they were not concierge guests, but got to go on the sunrise safari. I think she said she was on the platinum plan.

Was it the platinum plan?

You're right! When you get old, your mind goes first. Premium. Platinum. I was kind of close.

No chance unless you're a conceirge guest or on the platinum plan, sorry!

The general consensus (sp?) has been 3:45 or 4pm daily. Check the activities board or ask at the front desk. I plan to take this tour on 12/5 - look for my LGMH if anyone wants to join me!

Platinum plan includes dining, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dinner shows, room service cirque de soleil, unlimted recreation like water craft, golf, horse back riding, etc.. vip viewing for fireworks at MK & EP, reserved seating for fantasmic (without having to eat dinner) the services of an itinerary planner in advance of your stay, and a platinum fireworks cruise, all park tours, spa treatment. Also a keepsake and special luggage tags.

Here is the brochure

Apologies if I missed this information somewhere, but I have heard conflicting information in the past...As a non-Magical Express guest, can I still have the front/concierge desk check me in for the return flight and print my boarding pass? I've heard this is possible at some of the resorts, but could not confirm whether or not this is available at AKL. Thanks all!

Hi Sunkissed, yes you can ask the front desk concierge to do this for you. I would double check upon check-in. I have had friends who have done this at other resort so I would imagine it would not be a problem for AKL.

Have a wonderful trip. We will be at the world about the same time.

Good Morning...

I'm just home with my family from a three day stay in our Nation's Capitol...Seeing the Constitution and Declaration of Independence and the Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Mermorial..very moving... :goodvibes

Anyway have 39 days.... ...till AKL trip...popped on line and just realized (I think I need some more coffee.... :surfweb: ) Are there two AKL websites...this one seems to be shorter...are different issues addressed here?

I have a question/problem... :confused3 ...I'm planning on making my children AKL welcome baskets and is it possible for me to mail them ahead so they'll be there when we arrive? Has anyone every done this before...

It would really make things easier on the plane... I just want to know that they'll be safely cared for and truly be there when we arrive... :rolleyes1

Sending out good vibes to everyone this bright (at least outside Philadelphia) and sunny Sunday.....
