I concur! AKL is my favorite deluxe. I was happy with the bus transportation and the feeling of the resort that it is away from the noise and stress of the parks. It gives you that "ahhhhh" feeling when you arrive like you are at some luxurious exotic location. Love not sharing busses w/ other resorts like the Epcot hotels and others.

It means you have a room only booked and the LCR is some internal code that only means something to the bean counters.

Does anyone have a picture or could even describe what the one bedroom villa at Kidani is like when the sofa sleeper and the twin sleeper chair are both pulled out in use? I think I would need to use both of them for my kids and I'm just trying to figure out how cramped it would be.

I know that Josh at easyWDW has a lot of pics of reviews of DVC villas, but the only one I could find for a 1-bedroom w/both of the beds pulled out was for Jambo not Kidani. No, you don't, but I saw trial size 5 pack in the gift shop at Jambo last weekend.

I am a little surprised no one has checked in here yet with an update. I don't arrive at Jambo till January 30th. I'm doing a split DVC stay - 4 nights Jambo; 3 nights BCV and got letters for both resorts!! BCV I know definitely needs a refurb, but I was just at Jambo in December and it didn't look "tired" and in need of a refurbishment to me. I might be blinded by my love for the resort though!

Oh NO! We are also at Jambo 1/19-23 in a savannah view studio and very much looking forward to staying there. I really don't want Kidani but we have ADRs at both Boma and Sanna on a four night trip so if it happens and its offered I guess we'd have to take it. Did they not have a one-bedroom at Jambo available for you?

I haven't stayed at AKL since 2005. My DH's favorite place to relax was the sunset lounge off of the lobby. Is it still open to relax in? We are going June 23-30th and are looking to relax at the resort.

All this talk of being moved... is Kidani not as enjoyable as Jambo? We're there in May on rented points and are only familiar with Jambo (which we love).
