Fever is up and I'm completely miserable. Feels like the flu but going to the doctor in a little while to see. I'm not cancelling until the last second but started looking at my options if I bump it a week. Going to cost me an extra $300+ and will have to switch to Pop. Will of course lose our FP and ADRs as well which is more upsetting than the money. Forecast looks significantly hotter too.

I rarely ever get this sick. Just can't believe the timing.

I had a REALLY bad kidney infection a few years ago that I ran a high fever with. I would have sworn I had the flu, but I didn't. Whatever you have, I hope you get well fast so you can make your trip.

Thanks. They confirmed it's the flu. Influenza B. I was diagnosed just within the window to start Tamiflu so hopefully it helps. I've never taken it before. Still holding off deciding about tomorrow. But more than even how I feel is my worry that the rest of the family will come down with it either the one traveling with me or the ones staying home. Looking over my options now.

It's very late. They were mentioning this at the doctors office while I was there. They said it hasn't been anything like March (peak season here) but they are still seeing cases pretty regularly. They had another one shortly before I was there today. We've had very late winter like weather so maybe that's part of the issue.

Okay, I'm officially giving in and postponing my Mothers Day trip.

Looking at flights my best option for new dates is next week the 17th to the 20th. At the moment there are still AP discounted rooms at AS Sports but only preferred. Adds a little more to my budget but still the cheapest option for those dates.

Are there any sport competitions or anything going on then that anyone is aware of?

Just thought I would pop and tell you guys that we are having a great time. We were upgraded to a preferred room. Nice view of the pool. Resort is great and the food court is even better. A little hot here for me but we take a break during the day.

We had lunch at tusker house in Monday. Food and service was great. As usual breakfast at kona cafe. Another great meal.

Your coworker gave you both old and incorrect information. As of about 3-4 years ago, all WDW resort rooms have a fridge. No extra charge either.

Good Morning fellow Sports lovers. I took the plunge yesterday and book a fall trip. Staying Monday 10/31- Thursday 11/3. Just a nice short trip as I had some southwest credit to use. Gotta love southwest out of Buffalo, nonstop

Just me going solo this time. Hubby wants to wait til next year and take the grandson, he will be two then. I know MDE is so screwy. My dinner ressies are showing up but not my hotel reservation. Come on now. At least I know they took my money (of course they did) and I got a confirmation email.

What a nice long trip you have planned. Having my knee surgery next monday: 5/23 so everything should be okay for my late fall trip. If not I will use a scooter.

With a confirmation number you could try using the Link Resort Reservation in MDE to force it to be added.
