Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

Our first on proprty stay was at All Star Movies. It's been a long while ago, and we never spent any time at the resort unless we were sleeping! I decided to let our two year old choose where (value) to stay on my birthday trip, so we'll be headed back in a few months! :)

We were in the Mighty Ducks buildings last time and I can't say that I was all that impressed. I'd love to try for Toy Story. DS is WILD about Woody. He's even planned to dress himself & his baby brother as Woody & Buzz for halloween this year. Unfortunately, I didn't think much about bothering to request a room and booked standard. From the first post, it looks like I can't request that. What could I ask for that would put us close to Woody? Is it possible to upgrade a reservation if it was booked with the 40% code, or am I just out of luck at this point?

TIA!

i will request the Fantasia room for my birthday next year! Oh! Do you have any fan site about All-Star Movies!:confused3

Is there a toaster for use in cafeteria?

I'm pretty sure there is, but we never toasted anything. Maybe someone who has been more recently or toasted something can confirm.

I'm pretty sure you can upgrade.

I'm not positive, but I know Pop has one, the kind that they use in resturants where you place it on the thing and it goes around under the toaster and plops it out for you at the end.

thanks, my roomate is bringing poptarts to eat in the morning but only likes them toasted. :)

At Movies, is there a Movie Screen out by the pool during the summer months. I read this last year, but can't remember which resort it was.
Thanks,

LWatson: I've seen many many windows creatively decorated in our decade at the ASMo but never doors. I would believe any hotel/resort has safety/fire code standards that preclude messing with the door. We love seeing all the windows as we walk through each day :wizard:

Does All-Star Movies has room service? Please tell me! Oh! One more thing What time is the check-in and check out open and close!:confused3

ive been told by a friend that the screen is at asmusic. from what she told me this is all the time, but i haven't heard anything about it being at movies. i wish tho!

Believe it or not this is on Disney's website;

"Dining Options

Dining at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a food court, a poolside bar and room service."

I think in reality room service is just pizza delivery.

The front desk is open 24 hrs if that's what you're asking.

Hi, Amber?! MzGemini ----> Lisa S

If this is the Amber I think it is....I'm the friend. Here's the link where I read about the movie at ASMu.

I don't think values have room service except for pizza deliverires. The check in is probably 3 or 4, and checkout is probably 10 or 11.
