Disney's 50th Anniversary...

when does it actually end? I'm planning a trip for late September (possibly early October) and would like to make use of the Magical Express service which I've read somewhere that its free up until end of 50th Anniversary special. Is this true?
Is Magical Express Service something that will continue even after end of 50th Anniversary? If so, how much will it cost to use that service?

Word is that the celebration ends September 30. No commitments have been made past that date, as far as I know, either way.

I don't mean to highjack this thread, but along the same topic . . . Exactly what will change after the Happiest Celebration on Earth has ended? I'm guessing the changes made to the castle are undecided at this point, but else might be different? I can't remember anything else that has been added (other than new attractions) that might go away or be changed.

There were some early indications that the celebration would be 18 months long, thereby ending in November. The apparent switch to September 30 could be construed as an indication that they're planning on starting another celebration on October 1, which happens to be the 35th anniversary of WDW.

ya know....this upsets me....if the 50th celebration doesn't end til December, then we should be able to get the special desserts until then right? Last Sat at the Concourse they said nope!

That is correct...DME is complimentary through December 31...they haven't made a decision beyond that.

The 50th Anniversary Celebration ends September 30. I imagine that all of the new attractions are staying put...not sure about the desserts. Maybe they will still offer them but under a different name? The decorations will probably come down and I'm not sure about Cinderellabration. I'm pretty sure that will stay though.

I can't remember where I read this on Wednesday, but I heard ME was ending on Sept. 30.

I've been keeping an eye out for any information on this, and I haven't seen anything saying anything close to that, pluto. There might be a fee after that date (but probably not) but the series is almost surely going to continue.

I read that 50th celebration was to end Sept 30th. I know Epcot is turning 25 soon(2007)-so they will make a big deal out of that I'm sure. Will they really do something for 35th anniversary?

Hey its Disney..of course they will celebrate the 35th...Hmmm let's see..a party, a parade and I know....some fireworks!!!
