DisneyQuest tips/ itinerary

My 5 year old and I are going to DQ next thursday morning. I was looking for a suggested itinerary and any tips anyone can offer.

While I wouldn't call myself DisneyQest expert, here are a few tips.

1. Get there at open. It's definitely less crowded right at opening. It helps that you're going on a Thursday...you may avoid the locals.

2. Do Pirates of the Caribbean attraction on the lowest level first. The line for this builds all day. Last time, we waited 40 minues for this and it was only 2 hours after open.

3. Do Space Mountain "Build-A-Coaster" next (if desired). That's not the name of it, but it's the attration where you make a roller coaster and then get to ride it in a simulator. This is on (I believe) the main entrance level.

4. At this point, do what you want. Those two exhibits always have a huge line, whereas many of the others are manageable all day.
