DD: 11 year old excited to be an adult on the DDP, but has braces on and has to be careful with certain foods
Jamie: Friend that hasn't been to WDW since 1994, so its like she's never been
Thursday, 9/20
We had just checked into Pop Century and my friend Jamie was hungry (dd and I had something during our layover in Charlotte). She had the Bacon double cheeseburger and fries. She said it was very yummy.
Friday, 9/21
Our first official day at WDW! We had lunch at Flametree BBQ in Animal Kingdom.
Me: BBQ Chicken Salad, it was good, but the chicken was very hard to find in the salad, it is cut into very fine thin pieces, but there is more lettuce in the bowl than anything. I also got Onion Rings which were very good. Dessert: Frozen Lemonade
DD: Fruit Plate with Honey Yogurt, she ate the melon and not much else. I thought it looked wonderful! I wished I had gotten the fruit plate instead. She also got a corn muffin which she really liked.
Dessert: Frozen Lemonade
Jamie: 1/2 chicken meal, baked beans and corn muffin. She liked this meal except for the beans. She liked the corn muffin as well

1900 Park Fare
This was a great meal, buffet style with foods from around the world. I like the old menu better, but at least they still had the strawberry soup. I have a tree nut allergy and the Chef came out and told me what I could and couldn't have, I really appreciate that they do this
The characters were great!! Prince Charming was very "charming", Cinderella was gracious, Lady Tremaine was always talking about how beautiful her daughters are, Drizzella was always sticking her tongue out at Anastasia, and Anastasia, was oh my goodness....what a hoot!! She came over to my daughter (she had put glitter in her hair) and asked if Tinkerbell sneezed on her hair, lol. She was the best part of the whole meal. Cinderella & Prince Charming did a waltz in the middle of the floor and Lady Tremaine grabbed a man out of his seat and told him to dance with her, lol. All in all, great meal, great characters. This is a continued favorite.
Saturday, 9/22 (my birthday!)
Went to Epcot today
Lunch was at Liberty Inn
Me: Double Cheeseburger, apple slices, apple cobbler. Loved everything!
DD: Cheeseburger, fries, apple cobbler. Loved it
Jamie: Double Cheeseburger, fries, Mickey Crispy Treat. Thought was fine
'Ohanas
This is served family style, foods keeps coming out, entertainment was great. I did get a Lei for my birthday and again, the Chef came out and told me NO Bread Pudding, I got a birthday cupcake with ice cream This is one of my favorite restaurants. Jamie loved the meal, DD picked at everything, she's not thrilled with the restaurant. My favorite item on the menu...the scalloped potatoes!! YUMMY! Jamie didn't like the house dressing for the salad, I didn't mind it so much. DD's favorite was the bread pudding.

50's Primetime Cafe
This place is great, lots of entertainment here. Our waitress was good, but she didn't really get "into" the character as much. Our "cousins" to the right of us, didn't eat all of their meals so they had the airplaine and the choo choo train done to them, lol. One teenager got in trouble and was sent to another table to sit at and her dad had to put his nose to the wall because he was misbehaving as well. Great time here.
Me: Fried Chicken, substituted green beans for the southern greens, mashed potatoes, salad, s'mores. I loved everything!! Couldn't eat everything, they give you just about 1/2 a chicken.
DD: Fried Chicken, substituted corn for the southern greens, mashed potatoes, fried herb cheese, angel food cake. She loved the chicken, potatoes, and cake. Didn't care for the herb cheese.
Jamie: Traditional Meatloaf and had corn substituted for ???, mashed potatoes, onion rings, and brownie sundae. She loved everything, finished her plate of everything, lol. This I believe was her favorite place.
Everything Pop Food Court
Me: alfredo Penne Pasta with chicken, sundae. This is a great counter service...I loved it!
DD: Double Cheeseburger, fries, sundae. Standard fare, was fine

Monday, 9/24
We left today
Chef Mickey's for late breakfast. Chef came out and told me what I could and couldn't have. This place was a lot of fun, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto & Goofy were there. Goofy was blowing kisses at my dd, she liked that
My favorite things: The Veggie Lasagna and Mickey Waffles
DD's favorite things: Mickey Waffles
Jamie's favorite things: ???not too sure, she's not a big breakfast person
Before we got on ME we went into Everything Pop to use up our snack credits and our counter service.
Me: The alfredo penne pasta (but with no chicken, wasn't that hungry), milkshake
DD: Burger/fries, sundae
Jamie: Burger/fries/mickey crispy bar
all in all, this is the 3rd year we have the free dining. I love it!
We had about $600 in counter service meals and table service meals (not including snacks). We unfortunately couldn't book the bounceback because of the dates they are offering for the free dining next year.
