This was new to me. I received this in the mail yesterday and I opened it up to find a really good movie club.
I signed up on line and got my first 5 DVD's for under $26 shipped! You are only obligated to get 3 more over the next 2 years at full price ($15). If you are like my family, well then that is easily accomplished.

Here is the link.

Hope this helps some of you out :goodvibes

Note: The Baby Einstein DVDs are also in the selection. If you have not seen these, they are great for your real little ones. I have been amazed at how my 10 month old watches these intently.

By the way I am in no way affiliated with Disney nor do I have anyone in my family that works for Disney....wish I did though. Passing on this information provides no monetary value for me.

I just signed up for the Movie Club, plus if you go through ebates.com you get a $6 rebate.

Did they have any more movies listed on line to get for the introductory offer than were in the mailer? I only found 2 that I needed in the mailer. I would be interested in joining if there were more titles.

I'm also a member and got my videos the other day! Baby Einstein is awesome! My 10 month old just watches and laughs the whole time! :teeth:

I also received my first 5 videos yesterday. With the video they also sent a member package which included some DVD/video catalogs. There were some really old classics in there that I had not seen in years. I am very pleased with this membership thus far :goodvibes

I have saved 4 of the 5 DVD's to give to my DD on our WDW trip departure April 15th. They will be in a Disney basket along with many other items. She is going to go nuts.....I can hardly wait....2 more weeks.

The other DVD was another Baby Einstein.....it has been viewed intently for many hours by the 11 month old. Our 6 year old is entertained by them as well....great stuff.

Wow! Thanks for telling us about this! Okay a quick question here:

1) The original poster (or anyong else who is a member of this), you were able to get the 4 movies (DVD's or VHS? And can you get DVDs for that cost?) INCLUDING the shipping and handling cost for $26?

I just wanted to make sure of that before we joined b/c I've had HORRIBLE experiences with clubs like this in the past and want to make sure this is legit first. (AKA We got 20 CDs for $15 and got charged $40 for the shipping and handling!!!) I guess I'm just having trouble understanding why they would have such an inexpensive offer. They would have to be losing money this way I would think.

Thanks so much!

I have the Disney Visa card and got a special offer for the movie club which in cluded the 4 free titles, 1 for 9.95 that counted toward your obligation to purchase and 1 for 14.95. All for like $1 shipping and handling.

We are all very excited. Getting in the mood for the June trip. :wave2:

I've belonged to the movie club for almost 2 yrs now and love it. I like that I'm not stuck with a certain format, as we like VHS for some and DVD for others. Once you fufill your requirements, you receive offers for 1/2 price movies, free S&H, and such. So far, I haven't had any neagative experiences with them yet.

I joined the disney movie club a couple of weeks ago. I received notification by email yesterday that our movies had shipped. I am putting all five dvd's out of site until our trip. This will keep them occupied for most of the trip and mom will arrive with a sane mind!

ive been wondering if its worth it. i mean, do you think you save money in the long run? or is it just better to buy dvds at bestbuy or amazon when they are on sale? i have noticed though that the club is the only way to get some movies that always seen to be out of stock at best buy. like nightmare before christmas! everytime i go to the store they tell its me out of stock! sheesh! I NEEEED that movie!

I was so happy to join this. We have most movies VHS tapes but DS has worn most of them out. Now I will be getting them on DVD. I like this way better cause some times its hard for me to find what I want a Wal-Mart(where we love to shop). When I first join I just got the first 3 for a $1 shipping. Can't bet that cause 2 out of the 3 where $21.?? each. Now all I have to do is buy the 5(?) and knowing me I will do that ASAP after we get back from our trip.

We got the same pack in the mail. I couldn't wait to join.

I ordered the following for my DD5:
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • A Bug's Life
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I ordered The Haunted Mansion for myself.

I can't wait to get new Disney DVDs every so often to enjoy with my DD.

LlamaFace,

You said you saw some classic movies that you haven't seen in a while. Did they have The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast? If so can you please tell how much they were?

Thanks
