Hey Everyone,

My DF both love Disney travel, have already been on a few Disney vacations together and recently joined DVC!! We are currently planning our Disneymoon for WDW and now that we have the dates, duration and where we are staying nailed down, we are starting to plan the details of the trip. We would love to hear suggestions from the community for ideas, must do's, plans or experiences that you have had or think would be great for our Disneymoon! Looking forward to all of your suggestions!!

Hi! I'm in the same boat, although ours has came round very quick, heading off in less than 2 weeks!

I'm trying to think of honeymoon things to do, so far I've booked me and my DW in to the Mandara Spa, tickets for the Blue Man Group and looking at booking the California Grill on one of the nights. If anyone has any other ideas I'm all ears as well :goodvibes

I will be leaving for mine in just under three weeks :) Some things I have heard are carriage rides around port orleans resort, couples massages, you can get fun baskets sent to your room *romantic themed one, ect.* boat cruises, California Grill dinner around the time of fireworks, order room service, there are plenty of boards on here that give lots of advice!!

We have done dinner at California Grill during Wishes! It was great! The ambiance was wonderful. We chose to go out to the observation deck and watch from there. They pipe in the Wishes music to the restaurant. The food was great as well! I highly recommend this for any one that is Disneymooning and has not done it yet!

I am in the midst of planning our Disneymoon for next year and some of the things we are planning are Victoria & Alberts, going on a few tours (Keys to the Kingdom, Seas Aqua Tour, and Segway tour), carriage ride around POR, a fireworks cruise, wine tasting at Jiko, and parasailing at Sammy Duvalls.

Even though I have a good 15 monthes before my honeymoon my DF and I have been throwing around ideas of things to do.

-Eat at V&A
-see La Nouba
-play mini golf
-do the segway tour in Epcot

Since we are both Disney fanatics and have been there many times we are trying to do things we wouldn't do on a normal trip.

This past May we went on the Wild Africa Trek. It was a bit expensive, but worth every penny. It was such a unique experience, and a few weeks later we received a disc of photos of us from the trek.

Congratulations to all of you that will be Disneymooning! I am jealous that some of you guys get to do it so much sooner than us! Sounds like you all have some great ideas though! ChewieIsMyCoPilot sounds like you have some of the same ideas that we do!! Keep them coming everyone!! :wave2:

DH and I Disneymooned in 2010 :)
We really enjoyed the Epcot Segway Tour and the Keys to the Kingdom tour! DH still talks about riding the segways!
We wanted to do the dinning with an Imagineer in Hollywood Studios but it was all booked. Even our concierge was unable to book us :(
Make sure you have built in lots of relaxation time. DH had never been to Disney World before and wanted to see EVERYTHING! I wished we had more pool time especially the first couple of days to unwind from the wedding.

It’s funny that you mentioned building in relaxation time! DF and I have discussed it and couldn't agree with you more! I don't think it'll be the first couple days but we already agreed that our Disneymoon will be more relaxing, pool time, special experiences and slower paced park days then our usual trips! :cool2:

DH and I disneymooned last October and had a great time. We were at the Beach Club so we spent a lot of time in Epcot visiting the Food & Wine Festival. We also ate at Cinderella's Castle, did a photoshoot with Randy Chapman around the Boardwalk, carriage ride at POR, wishes dessert party, attended MNSSHP twice and just had fun relaxing and going to the parks all week!

Well for our engagement we did the POR carriage ride, and LOVED it. It was very fun and romantic. For our wedding, we have planned and booked a couples massage in our room at GF (even though the spa at GF is closed, Saratoga Springs has taken over the appointments and you can get a massage at Saratoga Springs or at your GF room), we also booked 2 tours - Holiday D-Lights and Wild Africa Trek, and we are also renting one of the speed boats one day. We also have the Delux Dining Plan and we have booked a ton of restaurant reservations - lots of character dining, some signatures, and some romantic dinners.

Congratulations! Not sure what time of the year you are going but one of our favorite things to do is go in October so we can go to Mickeys Not so scary halloween and Epcot Food and Wine Festival!! I also love the private boat cruises they do into epcot!! Have fun.
