Disneyland??

Other than getting a room on points at Disneyland, and being that the DVC won't be ready this summer . . . Is there an II location close to Disneyland? We're considering making a trip out this-coming summer, but . . . not sure about what's available.

There are no II locations within close proximity to DL. We've used our points at the Disneyland Hotel and the Paradise Pier Hotel and we really enjoyed both.

... or ... consider a direct exchange? I have two timeshares w/in walking distance of DL. You might want to use TUG's direct exchange board for offers?

While not walking distance, Marriott's Newport Coast Villas in Newport Beach is doable.

From mapquest, it's 22 miles (or 26 minutes) away from DLR.

(fwiw, this is the site of a DVC resort announced years ago, but never built. Marriott then got the site and built there.)

There are also other II resorts in southern California that are a little further away (in San Clemente, Capistrano Beach, Oceanside, and Carlsbad)
