<font color=navy>I went to Disneyland last Saturday, and snapped some shots. I thought I'd share them with you all....


The castle is completely covered as Disneyland prepares for the 50th Anniversary.

Guess what is finally running again

The Blue Bayou is open while the exterior is being renovated.

Okay, it was 5 minutes to 5:00pm, and people were already starting to hold their spots for the Fantasmic show - 9:00pm

The bridge over Pirates of the Caribbean was still clear ... but, it's only a matter of time ...

Another attraction under wraps until spring 2005 - the Tiki Room

Disneyland is getting a new attraction in Tomorrowland - Buzz Lightyear (going in the old Circle Vision/Rocket Rod queue building)

This anchor is in New Orleans Square. The little tot playing near it was so cute!

I noticed fresh fruit all over the place. These fruit stands were in Adventureland, Main Street, and Fantasyland.

The day was pretty warm, and some kids were having so much fun playing in the water near the Mermaid Grotto. I enjoyed watching them get soaked, and I think the Little Mermaid enjoyed watching them, too.

It was a nice afternoon at Disneyland ....

Hi Mary Jo! Great pictures, even with all the covered attractions. I still wish I was there now! I think Pinocchio and friends are in the restaurant, the Village Haus? We'll be there in February and I can't wait!! The kids look great, too! Thanks for posting these.

Thanks for the pics! I'll be heading off to Disneyland in 24 hours

I wonder how many other people will be there who had previously been scheduled for WDW this week?? We made 'plan B' reservations at the Grand Californian several days ago, and they were so accomodating about letting us cancel with no penalty if Frances had allowed us to get to Florida at the last minute.

Great pics! I was there that weekend. I can't wait to see all the changes done. We rode BTMRR when they had it open for approximately 3 hours Friday night. We rode it again on Saturday and Sunday. We also rode the Matterhorn before it went down for refurb.

But the pictures are beautiful and it's nice to see my old stomping grounds. The covered castle is about the saddest site I've EVER seen, hope it will be worth it come may of next year!

Disneyland and the Ren Faire....the only two reasons I miss Southern CA!
