Disneyland Trip Nov. 25-Dec. 1 part 4

yay Im hanging out with Albort

Today I woke up on my own but waited until Mickey had called me to get up couldnt miss that call cheryl had been up for an hour already because today she had to go home we were going to go to breakfast outside the park but just didnt work out...so I went on to the park and missed the dang countdown again....I told you this issue would continue to rear its ugly head ...I called Albort and he text me back telling me he would meet me at 12:30....so I just decided to do what all disneyland fanatics do while we wait for something...go shopping and did I ever shop...they are having this promotion where you buy $70 or more in a single transaction and they will give you this soft reindeer roundup throw blanket for $10 only...well you know we dont get many deals from them so I was all over that one....I shopped all morning...and sent bags straight to the hotel...I was able to pick them up at the bell desk after 7am the next morning every day...I really utilized this service...it was great...then he called me and said he was there and on main st...so I went to meet up with him....we decided to do rides....SM, BTRR, and went towards NOS ...I was starving as I hadnt eaten and although he had eaten before he came, I talked him into trying a skewer at Bengal BBQ... he had never eaten there before...man I love that place...he got chicken and so did I plus a beef, bacon wrapped asparagus and tiger tail bread...yum...while we were eating we saw that IJ was down but miraculously when we were done, it came back up so we went on it....I had told him about my splash incident and all he did was laugh at me like I was an idiot for sitting up front he doesnt like TOT but we made a deal...I would go on splash again if he would do TOT...this time I sat in the back and I didnt get wet except for a big spot on my leg which dried really quickly...hahaha I was so glad...I do like that ride but not when its cold outside...after that we made our way to DCA and I showed him something I have never shown anyone before...the secret bathroom....only because hes a great kid and I like him but I told him if he ever tells anyone its OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!! I made arrangements with the queen of hearts if need be when we got over by coke corner we saw Alice, mad hatter, cruella and the wicked queen from snow white...took a couple of pics...that will make a good one...cruella and alice??? talk about the odd couple....went to DTD and went shopping in Libby Lu, and World of Disney...he was a sweetheart and let me use his cm discount...then we went back to the hotel so he could see my room as he hasnt seen the rooms at DLH....and I needed to get another coat to add to my 12 others...haha I was frozen...finally got to DCA but first went round to check with lost and found to see if they found my pass..they hadn't...duh! big surprise! but albort had lost a credit card there and guess what? they found it.... yay!....into DCA and rode TOT but albort got ill so I said I wouldnt make him ride it again...monsters inc...did turtle talk with crush and sorcerors workshop...they said I was the old hag from snow white...the book said I seemed sweet on the outside but inside I was hateful and mean...it really said that ...hmph well I never!! I am NOT sweet on the outside they need to get it right jk....albort was sher kahn because he said he would rather eat nice people for lunch than eat lunch with nice people we went back to DL after that and I got a picture taken by the big tree in the plaza then we went in search of a chimichanga which we shared...rode POTC, SM again and buzz....my score was like 160k something and his was 400k something ...I stink at it...we took a pic and he sent it to my email but when I got home it wasnt here we were going to ride the train but they werent coming back to NOS so we decided against it...we made our way out of the park and to DTD to Naples and got pizza...he got a sausage something or other and I got cheese...It was good except they put goat cheese on it and yuck I dont like goat cheese...had to scoop it off...I was really thirsty and drank what the server brought me really quick so he decided to be a smart butt and bring me 2 at the same time food was good and service was too...after we ate Albort decided to go home because he had to study for finals...what a good boy he is on my way back to hotel I stopped in Anne Geddes store and called my daughter to go look on the webcam from the website and I wave to her...she thought I was a dork as usual but it made her laugh stopped at marcelines confectionary and got a piece of fudge...yum...got a text message from eatmypixiedust and we talked on the phone till late...I guess finally sitting on a comfortable bed and warmed up with a full stomach I started slirring or something because she knew I was sleepy...got off with her and fell to sleep right away....one thing I did want to say was DLH has 3 designated channels specifically about DL park and hotel...on one of the channels they show really old mickey mouse cartoons so I was in heaven...also, about 9ish they do a bedtime story thing on the tv where a different princess each night comes on and tells their story with a little help from a toymaker named Brian...it was really cute...YES I watched it every night so there

dont have any pics to show you because I forgot and if you dont believe me ask albort...when we were in naples I said to him oh man I forgot to take pics of our pizzas for the board...but it was too late....I had a really good time with him...he was alot of fun and I plan on hanging out with him everytime I go...got that albort???? I was so happy that things were getting better and no major issue had happened that day...


will my luck continue??? day 5 is next

Wow, that sounds like a FUN, FUN, FUN day. Oh, I wish I could see a pic of you and Albort together. That would've been sooooo cooooooool!

I love that you called your daughter from Anne Geddes so she could see you wave at her from the live webcam. That's something I would do too, so I guess that makes me a dork.

Albort had never eaten at Bengal BBQ?! DH and I LOVE that place! My favorite is the bacon wrapped asparagus - YUMMY!

I'll admit, I've never ridden TOT yet - for 2 reasons. Reason 1: I didn't want to ride it by myself, and with child swap, DH and I would have to ride it separately. Reason 2: I'm a chicken! But, DH and I are going on a couples only trip to WDW in January, so if we can muster up the courage, we're going to give the TOT a try. (very nervous though)

Oooooohhhhhhh, I can't wait for day 5!
(and where in the H-E-double chopsticks is the secret bathroom?!)

I love TOT...I ride with my hands up...I love flying out of my seat and Im not telling where the bathroom is...albort remember what i said!

I have loved Anne Geddes' stuff ever since I first saw it, probably 20 - 25 years ago. This was me in the DTD store:
"Wow. That's expensive. WOW. That's really expensive! Oh, that's sooo cute. OUCH! Put it down before I have to buy it! Oh, there's the camera...Who can I call?! [sigh] No one, dang it!"

So glad you had a great day with Albort. But the boy really shoulda listened to me about the Bonine...

DS2 saw your picture with Mickey Mouse, and he loved it!

eek, if my picture get posted, everyones gonna hunt for me... XD

TOT throws my stomach... its mainly the Gs on me when the ride goes up, and the braking part that makes my stomach turn upside down... I thought id be fine but i guess not... and i thought im ride desensatized...
