Looks like our next trip will include a day at Knotts Berry farm. The catch is I love parking the car and not having to drive at all for the entire week.

Is there anything that will get us to Knotts from south harbor blvd that doesn't include a full tour? Looks like a days Anaheim transit pass is about $4 but I can't see where it would get me to Knots.

You can take the MTA #460 bus, which heads into downtown LA but makes a stop at Knott's on the way. It starts at the Harbor Blvd bus stop near the shuttle entrance. Here's a schedule or go to http://www.metro.net.

You can take a cab from Harbour Blvd. to knotts for about $28 each way.

Although you said it would be nice not to drive the entire week. Its really easy to get to Knotts from DLR. 10 min drive. Cheaper than a taxi. No need to worry about bus schedule either.

More good info. Did want to avoid the city bus during night.

We may very well end up driving but there seems to be something extra special about just parking the car for a week.

Thanks for the tips.

Hmm, THERE IS Dedicated Disneyland --> Knotts Buses. I dont know who runs those but i see them a lot. Id call your hotel as they would know more info.

can a taxi take a scooter? I forgot my scooter :lmao: how to get a scooter to knotts?

MY BUS!!! :cloud9: :woohoo: :yay:

I take that from my house to Disneyland when I am taking my scooter. It costs about $3 round trip, I cannot remember fares. 25 or 55 dents each way if you have medicare card or some other proof. It takes about 15 minutes and goes by Albertsons and Buena Park Mall which has a Wal-Mart. The northbound bus picks up on Manchester in front of Hojos and drops off at the bus stop on Harbor in front of Disneyland. There are two spots for wheelchairs and ECVs. They run until about midnight and leave early in the morning, way early.

It iwll drop you about half a block from Knots and drops off on Beach Blvd after the bus turns the corner. Clain Jumerp and IHOP are right there also.
Going home just go back up Beach and around the corner. This bus also stops in the middle for Hollywood Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not.

We went to Knotts for a day in Jan. and we rented a car so we could go to the Disney outlet in Fullerton as well. The trip was so easy........if you have a car I would definitely drive over there!!!!!

The 460 takes my Lark 3 scooter right past Knott's. As for taxis there should be one that will transport your scooter, try googling and if not then I will try the phone books out here.
