The Boudin Bakery at DCA is a branch of the San Francisco based bakery outfit. If you've been to Fisherman's Wharf in SF you may have been there.

Food in the parks - no argument that the food is too expensive and usually isn't very good. Food at the Boudin Bakery and Taste Pilot's Grill in DCA is an exception IMO. And the quality is quite a bit better at DTD and at the hotels.
Mac and cheese with applesauce and milk or your choice of water, juice, or God-forbid soda.
Arroz con Pollo - slightly seasoned rice with chicken, applesauce, and same beverage choices.
At Pacific Wharf Cafe - ask for your soup or salad with the bread on the side, so you can eat the bread later as a snack.
We find the salads at the Pizza Port to be one of the better food options in quality and quantity. My only beef about the salads at PWC is that they are too small once you get them with the bread on the side.
