ROFR Thread Jan to March 2026 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

I wonder if it's people selling that did the point wash to direct CCV points recently?
I mean, who knows, but that doesn't seem the most likely explanation to me. If you search the past ROFR threads, it is pretty common to see CCV contracts going in the $120-$130 range. And, at least the January data we have for CCV direct sales, I wouldn't say the CCV "flash sale" resulted in so many points sold so as to meaningfully affect the resale market, even if many of those direct point purchasers were washing point.

I would personally go CCV over AKV for dues. I still love AKV generally over CCV but CCV is harder to get into and has better dues and is still an amazing resort.
And that is how I ended up with AKV and I am now waiting for a CCV contract to pass RoFR. We love AKV, but the similar point chart and lower dues turned my head to CCV and we personally love the boat transportation. Anxiously awaiting word regarding our RoFR status. If the CCV clears, I will have 2 AKV contracts (100 and 110) and 125 at CCV, all Feb UY. Hoping that will satiate my add-on-itis for the foreseeable future.😂

My wife literally said tonight we could look into CCV and I was like no we better keep AKV. Wilderness Lodge looks nice but we are from an area similar to that theme, so it’s not very appealing to us.
Yep, same here. I don't know if I'd love having a WL DVC to call "home" when I already go to the "real" wildness (mountains, pine trees, elk and such) much closer to home. I do need to stay there one day though, just not buy now!

I've become more convinced than ever that CCV is the most undervalued of the O14 resorts. It has the longest contract of any of them, it has quite reasonable dues, and its points chart is very reasonable. Some months, the site sponsor shows average resale prices as higher for both BLT (which has 8 years less on its contract) and BCV (which has 26 years less but, granted, is in a different category).

Biggest downside to CCV is you can't fit 5 in a studio or a 1 BR. And, I can understand how that is a dealbreaker for some.
The second bathroom in the 1 BR at BLT really steered me towards that resort, but you make very valid points for team CCV!!

Where did you buy at?
Find the contracts at DVCforLess.com then buy from whoever has the contract that you like.

If CCV’s vibe is too similar to home, definitely check out BLT.!!

My goal is to snag 250 at $150 each for June UY. Nice contract.
