Disney’s Caribbean Beach Splash Pad Closing for Refurbishment

The Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will close for a refurbishment beginning next week. The pool will remain open.

The splash pad will be closed from February 9 through early March 2026 for routine maintenance.

Guests may see or hear maintenance work during daytime hours.

Hello! We haven't been to Disney since 2019, and have never stayed at CBR. Excited to give it a go!

I've read a lot and I think I am hoping for Trinidad building 54 or 55.

When would you suggest leaving our room by to make HS for rope drop?

We booked a king room for the last night of our trip (I saved $500 flying home the next day!) we will be taking the skyline over from Yacht Club, where should we request our room? We've never stayed here before and would like to take advantage of everything that makes CBR special.

So we're not requesting any special location, we're just there one night and half the next day. Is it easier to get off the skyline at Riveria or CBR to go to check in? Where does Mears pick up at CBR?

One more question, we check out of YC on Monday 3/9 and check into CBR, would we still qualify for extra magic hours at EPCOT?

Not enough to make a difference which stop you use IMO.

Mears picks up in front of Old Port Royale.

You would be eligible for the Epcot extra hours.

Hi! So, Trinidad buildings are numbered 34 through 39. Buildings 54 and 55 are on the opposite side of the resort in the Aruba section. Assuming you want to be closest to the Skyliner station and OPR, you'll want to request building 34 or 35. Hope that helps!

54 and 55 are very close to the Riviera Skyliner station.

Every island has it's own bus stop so you'll never be far from one. If you're in Jamaica 45 or 44, you'll be very close to the Main Feature pool and the food court and pretty close to the Skyliner station. If you're in Jamaica 41,:42 or 43 you'll be closer to the Skyliner station but not too far from the Main Feature pool and food court. If you're in Trinidad you'll be pretty far from the Main Feature pool and food court. And a good walk to the Skyliner station. You're best bet is Jamaica.

Are the king beds corner rooms? Are they in all the Jamaica buildings? Which are the best buildings?

I just checked room finder on the touring plans website and it looks like they are not all corner rooms. Seem to be located everywhere except Trinidad. ETA: every village except Trinidad, but not every building of every village (hope that makes sense!).
