Hello,
I visit disneyland every year. This year we are taking around 7 people by RV, because my step dad has always wanted to rent one. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at any of the RV parks close to Disneyland. I know there are 3 main ones between half a mile, and a mile and a half away.
Do you know of any discounts out there to stay at the camp? Would you recommend a certain camp found? Does your stay include free shuttle service?
Any help would be much appreciated.
We will be going to disneyland the first week of december 2013

Thank you very much!

We haven't stayed at any of them yet, but we are booked for the Anaheim Resort RV park this summer. I am told the Disney Shuttle services the park, but it is not free. There is a walkable route to DL from the park. The shower facilities are free, so you don't have to take turns showering in the RV and waiting for the hot water tank to refill.

It came to about $70 a night including all charges, which is cheap compared to hotel rooms for that many people. You can also make breakfast and pack a lunch instead of having to eat out for every meal.

I would love to take our RV all the way to DLR but of course we'd need to take quite a bit of time off to do that from here - I have heard good things about them though, most sound like parking lots but what do you expect, you are there for Disney right - not looking for nature.

We've tent camped at both Anaheim RV Village and Anaheim Harbor RV. I prefer the village one, it's bigger. You can watch the fireworks from the pool and hot tub. RV Village is a the corner of Harbor and Ball. The Harbor RV is almost directly across the street on Harbor.

They have a shuttle I think it was $3 each. Discounts listed on the website. We got 10% off for AAA card.
Not a lot of shade but in Dec it shouldn't be so hot. It is a big parking lot tho each site has grass. Showers are good, Laundromat on site, game room, big room with big tv and a couple of couches.

Enjoy your trip.

Hi there!
We have taken our trailer many times and have always stayed at Orangeland Rv Park. It is a little further away located on Katella. I think maybe a 10 minute drive. It is a very nice , clean park with grass sites and trees at every site. The showers are clean and free. They offer FREE wi-fi and FREE cable at each site. They have a store on site and you can also pick all the fresh citrus that you want while there for FREE.
There is a pool, spa and a very nice outdoor grilling area with ramada and tables that you can use. They allow pets if that is a concern and also have a nice fenced area to let them run. There is a laundry facility, weight room, shuffle board and pool table also.
The rates are great, ranging from $65 ~ 80 per night depending on the size that you need. All sites also have outdoor tables/picnic tables that we find great for enjoying breakfast before the parks.
Check them out, they are not as close as the other parks but not far either we have never had any issues.

Just stayed recently at Anaheim RV Village. Very clean and friendly staff. The firework show was practically above the campground (Could not see the low level in park stuff). They have AAA/Good Sam Discounts. They do not have a free shuttle, but the ART stop is across the street. The walk would be about a mile - we chose the ART.

We are booked for anaheim rv resort in June and from what I've read it sounds like a nice place. DL is a side trip for us between the Redwoods, Big Sur, Sequoia, Yosemite and Lake Shasta and we can't wait! 67 days and counting :)

We have stayed at both RV Village and Anaheim Harbor. The village is more like an RV Park. Lawn, Trees. The spaces aren't that wide. They do not have cable if that is important. With a 5 yo it was dissapointing to us. They are also the most expencive. They claim to have a shuttle but it is ART.
Anaheim Harbor is more of a parking lot. Around $45.00 a night, free wifi allthough kind of week. A small pool. Art goes right by there also. There are a lot of monthleys there wich creates lots of thru traffic as they are the back 2/3's of the property. They do have cable. You park at an angle so depending on wich side you may need hose extenders.
