Disneyland Resort Express Shuttle or American Limousine

We get in at 3:00 on Christmas day....I am considering using American limousine @ $105.00 to from LAX to Paradise Pier. The reason I am considering this is because we really want to spend time in the park on Christmas day (even knowing that there is a good chance that DL may be at capacity ) ...so thought that taking private transportation versus shuttle would be better.

The $99 family special that DL Express offers is so tempting....I just worry that it would take much longer to get to our hotel versus using a private car. Anyone have experiences using American Limousine or any other car service? Did you find it faster that using DL Express?

Using a private car is faster. The shuttle picks up every 30 min from LAX. Then it will go to DL hotel, collect $ from everyone, then let DL guests off. Next stop is Grand Californian, then PP. If time is the issue, not money take the limo. The kids will love it too

I know...the wait for the bus, then watching all those people get off before you seems to take forever. I think Christmas Day will be even worse, or at least it will feel worse! We are more than likely going to go with the limo to DL, but will take the bus back to LAX if cheaper. I can imagine the look on my kids face when they see the limo

Okay, now I got super into it and started researching on my own. I found Crown Limousines on yelp. Totally awesome reviews. Five stars with 66 reviews. I sent a quote request. Will let you know what they say (unless you've already been there, done that haha).

I went on limos.com and got a quote for Crown at $121.00 for the limo. Tax gratuity included!

Going to see if Crown comes back with the same....or maybe lower quote

Should have booked it. Direct Quote from Crown is almost $200, now when I go to Limos.com, the quote is $171.

Okay, so YES, I really am curious! But wait a sec, are we going before you? Haha we arrive on 10/30 and you said "next month" (I am a poor reader).

I think I'm just gonna go for it. There isn't much to lose except wasting $100 (American Limo - Disney Resort Express). And I am definitely willing to sacrifice that for a ride from Point A to Point B that doesn't stop a million places and I don't have to wait 55 minutes for (we arrive right when the bus leaves and they switch over to every hour!)

And it's not like the Disney Resort Express drivers are so friendly. It can't get much worse, I imagine!

We have been using American Limo for a couple of years now. No complaints. The cars are nice and clean and the drivers are very friendly and professional. There are a couple of companies with American in the title. Go with American in Orange County.

It is $99 each way for the 7 of us, plus $20 prepaid tip. We also ask for the driver to meet us at baggage on our arrival. That's an extra $15.

Our arrival flights are usually too late for a shuttle and it's nice to have the driver there waiting for us.

I highly recommend them.

Our dates are Nov 3-8 so yes you will be leaving before me.

The online reviews I found were mostly really good so i'm willing to take the chance on them. Especially since american Limo is only costing us $4 more pp than the other shuttle services.
