We rode the railroad a couple times on our most recent trip, and a couple of people in our party noticed that at a particular place on the route, the station agent would tip his or her hat. Does anyone know why they do this?

Thanks!

Really ?!? Thats soo cool. I wonder what it has to do with. Someone find out !!!!

I believe it was along the Rivers of America, near the moose.

heh. Watch, it's going to be because their heads were sweaty or something, just some random coincidence, and I have everyone curious.

I was going to ask when we got off the train the second time, but they were pretty busy and I didn't want to get in their way.

Interesting. I'm going to watch for this the next time I'm there. I always though that when someone tips their hat it just means hello.

What a stir this hat-tipping has caused! :lmao: Now I want more info too.

Maybe they are saying Hello to the Moose....LOL I'm fascinated by this thread....why is that?? Perhaps I'll ask this weekend when we are there, be sure to sit next to the conductor CM and politely inquire what the heck it's about?! LOL

Maybe Walt is buried back there and they are saluting him, and the whole burial story IS true that he's on the property? ya never know..ya I know, I am a conspiracy buff popcorn::

Bumping this.....gotta love a mystery. I want to know this too.

hound <----- (still looking for Elvis....figures he'll run into him buying a nut log at Stuckeys :cool2: )

You know, I think I remember our conductor tipping his hat too.
Could it be that he was tipping his hat to the Chief on his horse??

I rode the train but not thru here....sorry! LOL

Walt was cremated so no possibility that he is buried in DL park.
