Disneyland....pros and cons

The first time we went to Disneyland, we also went to San Diego which is not too far away and absolutely loved it (went to the San Diego Zoo, etc.). We used the Southern California Citypass for park tickets. https://www.citypass.com/southern-california

San Diego is a great city. Need to go back and explore it some more.

Disneyland rocks the socks off of WDW in my not so humble opinion. No cons really. You don't have to plan everything to the teeth, it is much more "vacationy" in that regard. DL has way more rides than any WDW park, and you can stay a short walk to both parks (lots of hotels across the street on Harbour, etc). Space Mountain is way better there, as is Pirates. Don't miss those. In DCA, Carsland is amazing.

We often spend a day at Knott's Berry Farm too. It isn't quite as charming as when I was a kid, but it still has lots of cool things to do (and I love Mrs. Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant). Actually, the restaurant is outside the park, so even if you don't go to the park you can still try the restaurant.

And yes, the San Diego zoo is amazing.
