Thanks Kathy!! :goodvibes

That parade shot is great! Looks like that room was worth every single penny. :wizard:

Thanks! It was a fun view to have.

For the people who frequent DL can you help me out on Billy Hill and the Hillbillies? Everytime I've seen (ok - everytime that I can still remember well enough lol I also saw them several years ago) which is a total of 3 times in the past two years the entertainers have always been the one's in barefootmomma's pic......

Now I've seen a couple of these too.......

Billy Hill & the Hillbillies :cutie:

What's up?! I had figured since they don't play every day that it was always the same group but obviously not.

I think they do perform every day.

I adore this picture! It's so vivid and really captures the feeling of Toontown. :thumbsup2 I want to be there right now!!

All of these amazing pictures are really inspiring me to get a decent (read: anything better than what I have now!) camera and try to join in the picture fun on our next trip. And they are giving me my Disney fix until whenever that may be! Thanks :cloud9:

Yep, they do have performances daily :) They switch off or mix up the groups sometimes. I like the Billy I saw in my pic because he has different jokes and always cracks me up :teeth:

Well, group #2 must always take time off whenever I go! :rotfl: There's always a couple of days that they have the Laughing Stock Co. at the Golden Horseshoe when ever I've been there. I've never gone to see that show though. Next time I'll have to check on a couple of days and try and see the other performers. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info!

Is the laughing stock co. with the sherrif catching the 2 criminals? I did see a show like that in front of the Golden Horseshoe a few weeks ago. It was pretty funny. :) It was just a few minutes before the first Billy Hill show started :)

Or are you talking about the show where the mayor is trying to marry off his "daughter?" :rotfl:

I did not take this, but in honor of the 55th i wanted to post this! it's an actual painting!

That's the problem - I have no idea who they are!! I just looked at the current schedule and they play on Tues & Wed and there's no Billy Hill on those days so I guess it's not just when I go. :goodvibes Now I have to go see them the next time I visit.

Kat-I asked my CM friend and confirmed that the Laughing Stock Co. is the group I mentioned that performs out front of the Golden Horseshoe. It's the one where one guy dresses as a girl and the mayor tries to find an "eligible suitor" to marry her. :rotfl: I also googled it and confirmed :)

Here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4Y-AT0lGco

Here is another site I found: http://micechat.com/forums/disneyland-resort/113314-what-laughing-stock-co.html

Billy Hill and the Hillbillies is separate and they are their own show. The Laughing Stock Co is kinda like a "warm-up" or "pre-show" to Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. It does help to watch them perform and it passes the time before Billy Hill starts :)
