Mike, I just wanted to correct my original response to you. I just found an old park schedule so I decided to double check it -- and I was mistaken. The park closed at 9 that night, so we were only 45 minutes over time. They usually keep the shops open for an hour after so that's why no one said anything. They must've changed the closing time right before our trip, because I had it in my head that the park closed at 8PM every night we were there. Sorry!

I think I could make a 9:45 but as I get older I don't think I could make the 1am I read about.

Don't you think you can talk your husband into another Christmas excursion?

I wish I could go at Christmas time. It looks wonderful.

Im sure Ive asked this before, but I am about to buy a new digital camera and was wondering what camera it is that you us? I am currently checking out the Pentax K 7 but not quite sure which to go with yet. Ive seen tons of your photos and they are pretty stunning so I was just wondering what it is you use?

Thank you Random Villains. I have a couple of Nikon DSLR's but the main body I use is the D300 w/battery grip. I'll switch between various lenses and focal lengths throughout my visits to DL. This particular shot was taken at 18mm, full manual mode, shutter open for 17.4 seconds, aperture f/11, and ISO 200.
