thxs :) yea i just came home from my trip and posting pics soon are the straps expensive the op/tech straps? and love all of your photos everyone!!! cant wait for my halloween trip!!

Hi Stitch1986. Sorry I just saw this response now. The OpTech Straps are around $25 on Amazon and sooooo comfortable. I carry my camera all day and night with no problems! :thumbsup2 I use the OpTechPro straps. There is one called the Pro Loop Strap, but I don't care for that one. Some others have mentioned the Pro Loop straps are too short to wear the camera draped across their torso.

thxs :) yea I should be excited for this trip but idk I just seem eh I am kinda depressed and idk if it is cause I think ppl dont care on here cause I am trying to lose weight but motivation is big and I got no support it seems :( but thxs for talking and giving me advice on the tripod and straps :) I actually just got the tripod :) and it is very different :) still trying to get use to putting it up and thinking I will look weird carrying it around in DL :/

Hey, my kids names are in one of those books! :) The one from 2007 I think, maybe 2006 but I'm pretty sure it was 2007 that they "drove" the Mark Twain and signed the book. :) I'll have to ask them, I bet they will remember. :)

Don't even worry about the tripod looking weird! It will be so worth it in the end when you are able to get shots that others w/out a tripod can only dream about.
I know what you mean about the weight issues and motivation. It's hard. :headache: I lost 30 pounds in 2005-2006 and slowly gained it all back. :sad2: I'm trying to get back on the wagon with my 'lifestyle' changes. It's not easy, but again so worth it. It seems the older I get, the harder it is to lose and keep the weight off! :sad2:
Do you have a shutter release cable? That will help lots with long exposure night shots too. Good luck!

no I dont I have heard to do a shutter release remote what is the cable for? and I have tried taking pics on my tripod and idk it might be because I am not taking the right pics but they look the same as if being hand held but it might be because I am not taking the right pics?? but anyways also what is the shutter release main purpose??

Love this picture! Such great light and I like the composition. :thumbsup2

Thank you! I was trying hard to work on better composition on my last trip. Usually when I go to DL, the parks are so busy that I end up just pointing and shooting, or trying to grab a quick shot above people's heads. On my last trip a couple of weeks ago, the parks were a lot slower so I felt like I could relax, take my time, and think about different shots/angles to try. It was taken during that magical golden hour just before sunset. I wish we could find a way to extend that hour of light to about 6 hours! ;)
